Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Tong Po (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Santon Emelianenko (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Po comes to the cage accompanied by The Roots-Game Theory. Santon Emelianenko has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of New York, Tong Po! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
4 - 4 - 0, fighting out of New York, Santon Emelianenko! The judges for this bout are John Kavanagh, David Schapiro and Franklyn Lucas.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Emelianenko slips a straight right by Po. Emelianenko uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Po. Po gets cracked with a nice right hand there by Emelianenko. Emelianenko scores with a nice strike. Emelianenko lands with a hook. Po tried to avoid it but it clipped the top of his head. Emelianenko throws a shot to the body.
Emelianenko fails with a takedown attempt. Po moves into range and throws a lovely three punch combination. Po swings away with a leg kick that misses. Emelianenko fails with a takedown attempt. Santon Emelianenko seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Emelianenko misses with an uppercut. Po saw that one coming. Po takes a big uppercut there. He seems a bit wobbly but no, he's OK.
Emelianenko looks for a takedown but Po sprawls well. Tong Po has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Santon Emelianenko. Emelianenko changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Po tries to avoid it but Emelianenko manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Po to the ground. Po escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet. Emelianenko just misses with a punch to the body.
Po staying out of range there.
That's one minute gone in the round. Po connects with a body shot that sends Emelianenko's belly button to the back. Po slips a jab and a cross from Emelianenko.
Emelianenko lands a nice looking body shot.
Po tries to land a front kick but Emelianenko steps back. That was a bit too telegraphed. Emelianenko closes the distance and takes a jab right on the nose as he does so. Po lands with a kick to the ribs.
Po steps to the side to avoid the strikes from Emelianenko. Emelianenko shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Po as he jumps to the side. Emelianenko looks gassed! The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Po uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Emelianenko.
Emelianenko lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Po circles away quickly and effectively. A leg kick checked by Emelianenko. Emelianenko is pinned up against the cage taking some big shots here. The referee is looking closely deciding whether he should stop the fight.
Po keeping his hands up high there, blocking the jab from Emelianenko. Po closes the distance and clinches. Po lands a shoulder strike. An uppercut on the inside fails to land for Emelianenko. Emelianenko throws a punch but it's blocked by Po. Emelianenko tries a body shot but Po blocks it.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Po breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat. Emelianenko shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Po but Po pushes him off and we're back to square one. Emelianenko tries for a takedown but Po sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily. Emelianenko misses with a series of wild punches.
Emelianenko misses with a straight left. Po steps to the side to avoid the strikes from Emelianenko. Po swings for the body but Emelianenko moves out of range.
Po keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl. Po dances in quickly and lands a nice inside leg kick on Emelianenko. That did some damage! Po lands with a cross to side of his opponent's head. Emelianenko wings a very wild body shot but it does the job and lands to the midsection. Emelianenko fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Po avoids it really well and circles away. Emelianenko takes a jab on the nose there. A little bit of blood seems to be coming out. Hopefully that won't affect his breathing.

That's three minutes gone in the round. Po throws out a powerful jab. Po scoring well with a low kick there.

Po misses with a wild body shot. Po scores with a hook. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Po lands a big head kick that sends Emelianenko tumbling to the mat! Po takes a step backwards and waves Emelianenko back to his feet - he wants the finish!
Emelianenko is rocked! Po swinging wildly here.
Emelianenko is still on wobbly legs! Can Po finish him? Po connects with a solid leg kick. Emelianenko seems to have recovered his senses. Po scores with a sloppy right hand. Emelianenko should have avoided that one. Donk. Po catches Emelianenko right on the button with a cross. Emelianenko is trying desperately to land a takedown but Po is having absolutely none of it. This is turning into a bit of a nightmare for Emelianenko. A slapping leg kick lands for Po.
Po cracks Emelianenko with a big right hand that sends him to the floor! Emelianenko looks wobbly but he's sprung back up to his feet straight away… can Po finish him?
Po lands a nice shot to the body.
Emelianenko's hands are dropping dangerously low here and Po connects clean with a right hook that sends him down to one knee! Emelianenko scrambles back to his feet.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Po darts in and out, connecting with a jab. Po has taken the fight to the clinch.
The referee calls for Po to work.
Po stays in close to his opponent and throws a right hand to the body. Po lands a nice uppercut. Po misses with a knee strike.
Nice body punch from Po. Po throws a blind hook that connects with the side of Emelianenkos head. Po lands a right hand. Po lands a shoulder strike. A fake to the body and Po gets the Thai clinch. He wastes no time and tries to connect with knees to the head. This is dangerous for Emelianenko! He should get out! Another devastating knee and Emelianenko falls head first to the ground. It's all over!
