Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Henry Hagan (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Alexander The Great One (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). This should be fireworks!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 2 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Henry Hagan!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 2 - 3 - 1, fighting out of Sydney, Alexander The Great One!
The judges for this bout are Steve Erwin, Damien Edna and Donatello Bradman.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

The Great One drives through with a takedown into Hagan's guard. Let's see what he can do from the top position.
We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake.
The Great One seems content to control from guard here. He's going to have to remain active though if he doesn't want to get stood back up.
The Great One's corner are shouting for him to control the position and he seems happy to oblige.

Hagan is throwing his legs up, looking for submissions. The Great One is aware though and is defending well.

The Great One sneaks a leg through and gets to half guard. That was like a knife through butter how easily he passed Hagan's guard.

The Great One is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Hagan is just riding it out for now. The Great One eventually gives up the hold.
Hagan has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. The Great One is working away from the top position though.

The Great One seems to be taking a bit of a break to think of his next move. He lands a short punch in the meantime.

The Great One is trying to work for a kimura. This could be trouble! No, Hagan has managed to free his arm - good work.
The Great One is trying to control. Hagan wants to improve his position but can't escape this time.

The Great One is keen to just control but Hagan is a slippery customer.
The Great One is nestled in close to Hagan, controlling him well. He's worked in a nice elbow to the side of the head as well, for good measure.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

The referee walks around the fighters to get a better view of the action. The Great One lands a nice short elbow.
The Great One tries to pass the half guard into mount. Hagan knows what he's doing though and prevents the attempt.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

Hagan is squirming around, avoiding The Great One's attempts to control the action.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Alexander The Great One dominated that round.
The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.


The Great One misses with a takedown attempt - Hagan sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses.
The Great One shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Hagan pinned against the cage. Hagan gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.
The Great One keeps the fight on the outside.
Hagan swats away the attempt to clinch by The Great One.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
The Great One takes a nasty kick to the mid section... That should keep him thinking. Does he try and block and risk a head kick landing?

Hagan gets the takedown into side control.

The Great One is in a bad spot here and he knows it... just holding on for now.
Hagan wants to control but The Great One is keeping him busy.

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.

Hagan decides to take the fight back to the feet.

Hagan keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl.
Henry Hagan has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Alexander The Great One.

The Great One moves into the clinch.

The Great One is trying to trip Hagan. He has hold of a leg but Hagan is hopping around, keeping his balance for the moment. The Great One persists though and gets the takedown into guard.
The Great One looking to sit in guard and control but Hagan gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top.
Alexander The Great One has got the better of the ground game so far.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
The Great One manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Hagan manages to get himself to full guard.
The Great One lands a nice shot whilst sitting in his opponent's guard.
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.

The Great One might have to switch it up a bit here because his efforts to control Hagan kaven't been going to plan, at least at the current moment in time.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

That was a close second round but I would say that Henry Hagan will probably get the nod.
The minute break is over - no more time for sponges and pep talks - back to the action! Ladies and gentlemen, this is the final round!

Hagan jumps guard and drags The Great One to the mat. He's obviously going to be looking for submissions off his back.
The Great One must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu.
The Great One postures up and scores with a shot to the body and a follow up elbow to the head.

Hagan has his feet on The Great One's thighs here. He's pushed The Great One off and worked for a very quick armbar from the bottom! He's flipped onto his stomach and he's cranking hard on the arm! The Great One screams in pain and taps out! This one is all over!
