Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Brian Estep (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and David Smith (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Estep comes into the arena with Courageous blaring out of the sound system. Buckle up people - heeeeeeeeeere we go!

Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Winston Howard, Hugh Johnson and Bruno Hogan.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Smith tries for a takedown but Estep circles away easily
and Estep counters with a nice double leg into side control. Smith won't be happy with that.
The referee is pacing around the two fighters - he looks like he's thinking about a standup.
Smith is trying to control Estep's posture but Estep avoids it.
Estep throwing shots but missing, from side control.
Smith should think about turning a few of those tyres round his middle into muscle if he wants people to take him seriously as an athlete.
Smith misses with an elbow from the bottom.
Estep tries to move into full mount but can't pass Smith's legs.
Smith wants to control but Estep postures up.
Smith is looking to reverse the position.
Estep throwing ground and pound but whilst doing so, he forgets to control position and Smith works his way back to half guard. Good composure under pressure.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Smith is nestled in close to Estep, controlling him well. He's worked in a nice elbow to the side of the head as well, for good measure.

Estep lands one or two decent shots to the body here. Although from his own half guard, he's not going to be causing too much damage.

Estep is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Smith drops back looking for a leg! Estep is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Estep manages to kick Smith off! Smith jumps back into Estep's guard.

Estep not doing a lot at the moment. He'll have to show some more aggression or the fight will get stood up.

Estep stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Smith swivels though and keeps the full guard.
Smith has his feet on Estep's thighs here. He's pushed Estep off and worked for a very quick armbar from the bottom! He's flipped onto his stomach and he's cranking hard on the arm! Estep screams in pain and taps out! This one is all over!
