Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Antonio Nogueira (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Gold Phenquier (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Nogueira comes to the cage accompanied by World Police - Rio Heroes. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Phenquier keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl.
Nogueira throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Phenquier's waist but Phenquier gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Nogueira off to one side.
Nogueira misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Antonio Nogueira. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Nogueira avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
Phenquier closes the distance and presses his opponent up against the cage.
Phenquier breaks from the clinch.
Phenquier bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control.
Phenquier wants to stand but Nogueira has his arm trapped.
Nogueira is trying to improve his position.
Phenquier decides to take the fight back to the feet.
Nogueira shoots and misses
and Phenquier counters with a huge head kick that drops Nogueira! The ref dives in to stop the fight and the crowd goes wild!
