Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Dimitri Lavonia (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Mark Jones (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Rumors backstage are that the fighters have been paid to keep it standing but we know that would never happen in MMA!

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Summer Carpenter, Eliza Hachem and Winston Howard.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Lavonia throws a left and a right that both miss
and Lavonia takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles.

Jones shoots in but Lavonia avoids the takedown attempt easily.
Jones blocks a leg kick.
Jones throws a shot from downtown. Lavonia moves away and avoids it.
Mark Jones seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Jones throws a head kick that misses.
Jones shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Lavonia but Lavonia pushes him off and we're back to square one.

It looks like Mark Jones has been cut.

Lavonia punishes Jones's body with a nice straight punch.
Lavonia throws a wild body kick that Jones sees coming a mile off.
Jones walks straight into an uppercut. Luckily it didn't land flush.
Lavonia lands three nice shots there - that looked like it hurt!
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Lavonia shoots in and gets a takedown into half guard. Lavonia showed some decent athleticism there.
If this pace continues, the referee will definitely step in and force a standup.
Lavonia is taking a breather. Jones says something to him but it's hard to make out. Perhaps he's telling him to get on with it and actually do something.

Lavonia has controlled the position for a good 20 seconds, which will no doubt be starting to frustrate his opponent.

Jones is trying to defend against the ground and pound but Lavonia scores with a couple of nice shots.

Lavonia cracks Jones with a big right hand but Jones just smiles back at him and invites him to have another go.
Jones is letting Lavonia control him for a moment.
Lavonia seems to have a rather negative gameplan on the ground. He seems keen to just score the takedown and hold down Jones for as long as he can get away with.
Lavonia has knee on belly and now moves to full mount! Trouble for Jones!

That has opened up Mark Jones's cut even more.
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!
Lavonia moves into full mount! Jones won't be happy about that!

The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action!
Lavonia works his jab well there, keeping his opponent at a distance.
The cut above Mark Jones's eye is starting to cause him problems now.
Lavonia's jab looks to have found its range, popping Jones under the eye.
Lavonia throws a wild combination but nothing lands.
Jones throws a sloppy head kick
and Lavonia counters with a head kick that drops Jones to the mat! Jones scrambles across the canvas and gets back to his feet, still wobbly!
Jones is rocked!
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Jones takes a shot to the body in his stride.
Jones is still on wobbly legs! Can Lavonia finish him?
Lavonia moves in close and cracks Jones with a massive right hand! Jones, frozen momentarily in time, tumbles to the canvas, already out cold! A brutal knockout by Lavonia!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:35 of round 2, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Dimitri Lavonia!
A relieved looking Dimitri Lavonia thanked the fans for their support and gave the usual line about them being amazing. They seemed to believe that he actually meant it.
