Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Bullet Bookem (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jeffy Jefferson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Bookem comes to the cage accompanied by Solitaire Unraveling. Jefferson is bouncing up and down as he enters the arena, backed by Fette's Vette. I don't know about you partner, but I'm pumped for this one!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
20 - 10 - 1, fighting out of Los Angeles, Bullet Bookem! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
16 - 16 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Jeffy Jefferson! The judges for this bout are Jack Bonds, and Timothy Bukovac.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Bookem misses with a wild combination.
Bookem connects with a jab. Jefferson tries to grapple but his opponent circles and Bookem counters with a takedown into side control. The referee claps his hands together and tells the fighters to work. Bookem takes a little break here. Jefferson wants to take advantage but he is being controlled well. Jefferson is looking for a sweep. Bookem scoring with punches and elbows. Bookem tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Bookem has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought! Bookem misses with a strike but at least he's keeping busy, looking to cause some damage - that will still help him when it comes to the judges scorecards.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Bookem working the ground and pound but Jefferson is defending the strikes. Jefferson tries to improve position but can't. Jefferson gets one leg under and gets the fight to half guard. Jefferson manages to get to full guard.
That's one minute gone in the round. Bookem throwing strikes from guard but Jefferson blocks nicely. Jefferson working for a triangle but Bookem defends it easily.
Jefferson has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Bookem can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself. Bookem makes a bit of distance and scores with some ground and pound, still in guard. Bookem cracks Jefferson with a solid left hand. Bookem is just sitting in guard, looking to avoid any submissions. Jefferson bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Bookem's guard. Jefferson in full guard, throwing the ground and pound. No damage this time. Bookem looking for a guillotine here but Jefferson defends easily.
That's two minutes gone in the round. The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily. Jefferson in full guard, throwing the ground and pound. No damage this time. Jefferson stopping the sweep attempt from Bookem. Both fighters really going for it on the ground here! The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Bookem keeping moving, preventing Jefferson from controlling successfully. Jefferson drops back for a leg but he's not going to get it - he lets go and Bookem dives on top into guard. Bookem passes into half guard. Jefferson wants to control but Bookem is keeping busy.

Bookem scores with a couple of good hammerfists. Jefferson looking for submissions off his back. Bookem working the head and body with strikes. Jefferson is working for an escape here. He's hooked one of Bookem's legs and he's managed to sneak out and take Bookem's back! Bookem rolls and manages to get back to half guard. Nicely done.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Bookem is working for an escape here. Bookem has his opponent pinned against the cage, landing some nasty ground and pound that is really making a bit of a mess out of Jefferson's face.

That's four minutes gone in the round. Jefferson wants to control but Bookem is having none of it. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Bookem looking to ground and pound his opponent to a finish here.
Jefferson is trying desperately to improve position. Jefferson is persisting with the attempt to improve his position. Bookem landing shots from mount. The referee warns Jefferson that he has to improve his position here as he takes two more clean shots to the head.
Bookem working Jefferson over with strikes here. Jefferson takes a big shot to the head but keeps on trying to improve his position.
Jefferson is rocked! The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action! Bookem unloads with some vicious shots from mount and Jefferson wants out - he looks towards the referee who steps in to save him! Bookem celebrates on the cage and the crowd goes wild!
