Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
6 - 10 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Robert Garcia! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
4 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Paul Moss! The judges for this bout are Donatello Bradman, Damien Edna and Steve Erwin.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Garcia throws a head kick that misses. Garcia tries a switch kick but it misses it's target. Garcia will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
Garcia throws a head kick but Moss moves out of range.
An inside leg kick from Moss misses. Garcia misses with a jab, cross combination.
Moss throws a chopping leg kick but Garcia manages to avoid taking any serious damage. Garcia tries a head kick but it misses.
Moss looking for a takedown here - he's got it. The referee must be thinking about standing these guys back up. Moss won't allow Garcia to sweep him here.
That's one minute gone in the round. Garcia can't keep his opponent in guard - Moss advances to half guard, no doubt looking to mount. Moss is looking for a kimura here.
Garcia pushes Moss off looking to stand but Moss dives back in and keeps control.

Moss wants to advance to full mount but Garcia doesn't think that's going to happen and regains full guard instead. Moss stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Garcia swivels though and keeps the full guard. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Moss drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Moss jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position. Garcia preventing the ground and pound from doing any damage.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Garcia wants to stand but Moss is controlling the position. Moss pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Garcia is keeping the position for now. Moss is trying to work a guillotine from the top, or something like that? Don't know how he thinks he's going to get a finish from there. Moss stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Garcia swivels though and keeps the full guard. Moss drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Moss jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position. Moss slips effortlessly into side control - very nice. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Moss trying to control the action but Garcia is working from the bottom. Moss is looking for a kimura. He might have it! No, Garcia has escaped the position, nice work there.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Moss advances nicely into full mount. Moss trying to control but he's not successful this time. Moss is thinking about an arm triangle here, looking to tighten it up before moving to side control. Garcia can see it coming though and defends well with a couple of strikes to the head and some good arm positioning.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Moss throwing sloppy strikes, which aren't doing any damage. Garcia is in a horrible position here, under a barrage of strikes, he's managing to avoid any damage.
Moss looks like he's working for a submission but he's not found anything just yet. Garcia really wants to buck Moss off and get back to his feet.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Garcia in a bad spot here, taking shots to the head. This has been an exciting period of action! Moss has control of Garcia's right arm, working for a kimura. It's a bit of a token attempt though and Garcia regains control of the situation pretty easily.
Moss goes for an armbar but he's not got it… Garcia turns into him and now he's in Moss's guard.

Garcia knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Moss on the ground. Moss working for a triangle but Garcia defends it easily.
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action! Garcia wants to stand but Moss is controlling his posture from full guard. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Paul Moss dominated that round. That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.
Moss misses with a takedown attempt - Garcia sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses. Garcia lets loose with a powerful body kick. Moss will feel that in the morning. Garcia cracks a nice hook into Moss's ribs. Garcia instigates a clinch. Moss tries for a takedown. No joy.

Garcia looks like he'd prefer to be striking at range right now. Moss landing knees to the body. They look like they could hurt.
That's one minute gone in the round. Moss lands a nice knee to the body. Garcia is fighting off a takedown attempt but Moss is just too persistent for him and manages to trip Garcia to the mat. Garcia regains guard as soon as the fighters hit the mat. Moss tries to free his leg and advance position but Garcia is retaining full guard. Moss passes Garcia's left leg - he's now in half guard. Paul Moss has got the better of the ground game so far. Moss tries to pass to full mount but Garcia defends it. Moss is persisting with the attempt to improve his position. Moss wants to work for an arm triangle but Garcia is really keeping half guard well and defending the submission attempt.
Garcia is trying to stand.
Garcia on the receiving end of some nice ground and pound. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Moss throwing punches and elbows but they're not doing any damage.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Moss missing with some ground and pound from the half guard. Ground and pound from Moss. Moss is working for a kimura but Garcia is defending it quite comfortably.
Moss wants to free his trapped foot but Garcia is holding on for dear life with his legs. Garcia tries to kick Moss off but Moss keeps his base steady and stays in half guard. Moss wants to lay and pray for a moment but Garcia keeps working. Moss maintaining the dominant position here and is working for a kimura. He's locked it up! Garcia could be in real trouble here! He's trying to wriggle out but Moss has cracked it and Garcia is screaming in pain - he's tapped out! Great finish by Moss!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:59 of round 2, we have a winner by way of Submission (Kimura). Paul Moss! Paul Moss really struggled to get his t-shirt on before his hand was raised. Making sure that GR Design - Top quality, from $10 to $150 ! logo gets some air time is pretty tricky when you're all sweaty.
