Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 5 rounds, for the featherweight championship of the world!
Introducing the champion to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 3 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Tommy Tapout!
And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 5 - 1 - 1, fighting out of Amsterdam, Alha Dhin!
The judges for this bout are Saam Ante, Daniel Blasius and Radbod Blank.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Dhin closes the distance and gets a trip takedown into side control. Tapout quickly recovers to half guard.
It looks like the ref is thinking about a standup.

Tapout is looking to sinch up a guillotine here but Dhin pulls his head out easily.
Tapout tries to roll over but Dhin keeps him under control.

Tapout looking for submissions off his back.

Tapout actively working from the bottom here.

Dhin is looking for an arm triangle, whilst trying to pass to side control. Tapout doesn't seem that keen to cooperate though. No luck this time Dhin.

Tapout had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. Dhin defends it easily.

Tapout got a little sloppy there for a moment and Dhin has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Tapout has managed to get both his arms back between Dhin's legs - danger averted.

Dhin has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Tapout can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.

Dhin tries to work over Tapout's front leg with a kick but Tapout checks it.

Alha Dhin seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Dhin uses good head movement to avoid the hook from Tapout.
Tapout looks for a takedown but Dhin sprawls well.

That kick from Dhin tenderised Tapout's leg. Tapout is trying to keep his angry face on.
Tapout checks a low kick. Bone on bone - not my idea of a good time.
Dhin lands a leg kick that knocks Tapout off balance momentarily.

Tapout throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
Tapout sees a low kick coming and goes to check it, but it's actually a body kick and it thuds into his unprotected ribs.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.

Tapout shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Let's see what he's got on the mat.

Hammerfist, elbow! yells Tapout's corner. There ya go! There ya go!
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Dhin preventing the ground and pound from doing any damage.

Tapout is looking to work some ground and pound but Dhin has wrist control.

Tapout is trying to land an Americana. He has the arm isolated but Dhin is keeping cool and he's avoided the danger for now.

Tapout is working to tighten is grip on Dhin's neck. He's isolated an arm and is working for an arm triangle. Dhin has recognised the danger and is trying to turn with the submission but Tapout is really squeezing tight and eventually Dhin passes out! Tapout breaks the hold and jumps onto the cage to celebrate! Submission of the night, I'd say!
