The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Ashton tries for a takedown but Hazardi sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily.

Hazardi misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.

and Hazardi counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw.
Azman Hazardi has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Albert Ashton.

Ashton looking for a kimura but he'll have to free his other leg if he wants to finish that. Perhaps he's just using it as a distraction technique.
Ashton stalling away here and it's allowed Hazardi to slip out his trapped foot and regain full guard.

Hazardi is trying to control the position but Ashton postures up.

Ashton is in a good position here but he's just trying to control... And he's not even managing to do that successfully.
Hazardi wants to stand but Ashton is controlling the position.
Hazardi manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Ashton manages to get himself to full guard.
Ashton keeping moving, preventing Hazardi from controlling successfully.
Ashton has managed to work for a loose triangle. I think Hazardi should be able to defend this one pretty easily though. Oh, Ashton has tightened it up now! Hazardi should have reacted faster there - he's in big trouble and yes, he's tapped out! This one is all over!
