Darko kept the crowd waiting but all that was forgotten when his ring entrance music started. The incomparable musical genius that is Sully Erna - Avalon. The crowd seem to be enjoying Package's choice of entrance music: Wait -- Earshot. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

The judges for this bout are Eliza Hachem, Summer Carpenter and Damien Edna.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Darko shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in full mount! That's better than Darko was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure!
The referee is asking the fighters to pick up the pace.
Package is in a horrible position here, under a barrage of strikes, he's managing to avoid any damage.
Darko thowing shots but they're missing.

Darko trying to control but he's not successful this time.
Package blocking the ground and pound.
Darko avoids the attempt from Package to control.
Darko sends his fist crashing into the mat - the crowd let out a collective ooooooh. Let's hope he's not broken it!
Darko cracks Package with a nasty head shot there - the crowd let out an audible gasp there, as the noise reverberated around the arena.
Package tries to lock up and control but Darko gives him a forearm to the face and pushes him away.
Darko lands a shot to the body, followed up by a shot to the exposed head of his trapped opponent.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Darko looking to ground and pound but Package is blocking nicely.

Package is desperately trying to improve his position but Darko has a good base and remains in mount.

Package is wriggling around trying to escape.

Package takes a big shot to the dome and his eyes have rolled back in his head! Darko's killer instinct has kicked in as he finishes the fight with more strikes. Impressive finish.
