Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Matt Silva (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jake Sully (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Silva's entrance music is BLUNT- The Iron Maiden. A fine choice. Sully has chosen I See You as his entrance music. I can't wait for this one - let's get the fighter introductions out of the way and get this one started!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
22 - 8 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Matt Silva!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

14 - 7 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Jake Sully!
The judges for this bout are Donatello Bradman, Steve Erwin and Winston Howard.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Sully waving his hands out in front of him, looking to distract Silva.
Sully shoots in for a takedown from distance. He catches Silva napping and manages to drive through into side control!
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
The referee is pacing around the two fighters - he looks like he's thinking about a standup.
Silva parries the strikes from Sully easily there. Sully is wary of posturing up too much because it might enable Silva to escape.
Silva is moving his hips around well on the bottom and has managed to get back to half guard.
Sully is nestled in close to Silva, controlling him well. He's worked in a nice elbow to the side of the head as well, for good measure.
Sully winds up and cracks Silva with a swinging punch to the side of the head.
Both fighters really going for it on the ground here!
Sully is working for a kimura but Silva is defending it quite comfortably.

Sully throws a nice looking combination but Silva bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.

Silva throws a looping overhand right but Sully ducks down to avoid it.
Silva is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Sully.
Horrible takedown by Sully or perhaps it was just good defense by Silva which made him look bad.

A looping hook to the body misses from Sully. Silva does a little dance to reset his feet.
Silva ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face.
Silva shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Sully but Sully pushes him off and we're back to square one.

The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Boom, another hit is landed. "You're gunna get knocked out" taunts Silva, as that shot connected.
Sully tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Silva paws at him with a jab and circles away.
Sully shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Silva defends it nicely.
Matt Silva has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Jake Sully.
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!
Sully shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Silva as he jumps to the side.
