Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Kazuhira Honda (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Nham Thashi (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Honda's entrance music is Zetsubou Billy - Maximum The Hormone. A fine choice. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Kazuhira Honda! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Nham Thashi! The judges for this bout are Yukihiro Shimada, Hirohito Nitta and Shigeki Sano.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Honda wants to clinch. Honda looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Thashi is fending him off so far but Honda persists. Nope, Thashi circles away and we're back to standing. Honda circles away from the clinch attempt.
Thashi throws a body kick but he wasn't in range. Honda swings and misses with a hook to the body.
Thashi shoots in for a takedown but Honda shows good takedown defense. Thashi darts in trying to clinch and Honda moves into the clinch. A bit of stalling here from Honda.
Honda lands a body shot in the clinch.
Honda is looking for a takedown up against the cage. Thashi gets underhooks though and prevents the takedown attempt. Honda manages to pull guard. Let's see whether he can land a sub off his back. Honda has Thashi pulled in close to control his posture. Honda escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Thashi gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
That's one minute gone in the round. Honda keeping moving, preventing Thashi from controlling successfully. Honda pulls Thashi in close to prevent any damage. Honda looking to hit a scissor sweep but Thashi is one step ahead there. Honda has Thashi pulled in close to control his posture.
Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up. Sloppy strikes from Thashi. Those never looked like landing. Thashi looks gassed!
That's two minutes gone in the round. Honda swats away the attempt to clinch by Thashi. Nice takedown defense from Thashi. No joy for Honda on that attempt. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Kazuhira Honda. That's going to take a lot out of him. Thashi scores with a big left there. The judges will like that one. Thashi ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Honda moves away. Nham Thashi seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. That kick from Thashi tenderised Honda's leg. Honda is trying to keep his angry face on. Honda shoots and misses and Thashi counters by moving into the clinch. Good anticipation by Thashi. Thashi working hard to break the clinch. Honda goes for a takedown attempt but Thashi pushes him away and we're back to fighting at a distance.
Honda is looking to clinch.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Honda keeps the fight on the outside. Honda will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts. Thashi rushes Honda and presses him up against the cage. Thashi lands an elbow inside. Thashi prevents a takedown attempt there.
Thashi lands with a short head shot on the inside. Thashi lands a knee to the head there! That was nasty!
Honda fails to pull guard.
Honda is trying to slow down the pace of the fight but Thashi is keeping busy. Thashi unloads a knee to the mid-section.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Honda can't get the takedown.
Thashi leaning his opponent against the cage. Thashi lands a right uppercut that snaps the head of Honda backwards. Thashi holding his opponent close, against the cage.
Thashi misses with a hook from the clinch. The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. Honda jumps guard but Thashi turns him against the cage and keeps the fight standing. Some stalling of biblical proportions here from Thashi. Honda gets control of Thashi's arms and successfully pulls guard. Honda will no doubt be looking for submissions off his back. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
A close round but Nham Thashi will probably get the nod. The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action!
Thashi stuffs the takedown. Honda uses good footwork to avoid the strikes from Thashi. Honda blocks a head kick by Thashi.
Honda shoots for a takedown but Thashi saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily. Thashi looking to land some kicks to the body here.
Thashi tries to keep at a distance but Honda has taken the fight into the clinch. Honda tries to take the fight to the ground by pulling guard but can't manage it.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Kazuhira Honda. That's going to take a lot out of him. Thashi manages to break the clinch.
Thashi is breathing heavily. Honda closes the distance and pushes Thashi back into the cage. Honda tries to pull guard but Thashi won't allow it.
Thashi unloads a knee to the mid-section. Honda lets out a prehistoric sounding urrrrgh. Honda jumps guard.
That's one minute gone in the round. Honda controls Thashi momentarily but Thashi frees himself. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Honda is going to have to think about doing something other than just controlling because Thashi is managing to avoid having the position dictated to him. Honda utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound. Thashi throws a big elbow that misses. Honda wants to stand but Thashi is controlling the position. Thashi throws a big right hand that misses. Thashi makes a bit of distance and scores with some ground and pound, still in guard. Thashi postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Honda looking for submissions off his back, moving his hips, looking for an opening.
Honda looking for submissions from the bottom here. Moving his hips around, possibly looking for an armbar.
Thashi is frustrating his opponent with some stalling tactics from top position. Let's hope that Thashi has the urge to step up the pace any second now because for the last 15 or 20 seconds he's just been holding on tight. Thashi must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu. Honda keeping full guard, as Thashi tries to pass. Honda is adopting a defensive guard.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Thashi drops back, looking for a kneebar! Honda looks panicked! The fighters roll across the mat, one looking to finish, one looking to escape. Honda looks to have wriggled free... Yes, he's got his leg free and he's dived into side control! Good work there from Honda! Honda misses with a strike but at least he's keeping busy, looking to cause some damage - that will still help him when it comes to the judges scorecards.
Honda passes to full mount! That's big trouble for Thashi! Honda landing strikes from the mount and Thashi is in trouble! Thashi is squirming around, avoiding Honda's attempts to control the action. Thashi tries to hold on but Honda pushes him away.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Honda content just to control the position here. Honda is going oldschool here, as he tries to force Thashi to tap using a forearm choke. This isn't 1993 though, so Thashi shrugs it off. Honda avoids the attempt from Thashi to control. Honda with some aggressive grappling here. He's looking for submissions here, rather than waiting for the opportunity to counter.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Thashi tries to get back to half guard but can't. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Kazuhira Honda dominated that second round. The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action! This is the final round!
Honda shoots for a double leg takedown but Thashi sprawls well. He's pushed Honda's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily. Thashi is looking to clinch but Honda is avoiding it.
Thashi throws a right and a left that both miss. Thashi shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Thashi looking to pass the half guard. Not this time. Honda trying to control here.
Honda keeping hold of Thashi's head, controlling as best he can. Both fighters are breathing heavily.
That's one minute gone in the round. We must be close to a standup if these guys don't pick up the pace. Honda gets back to full guard.

The ref stands the fighters back up. Kazuhira Honda wasn't doing enough on the ground. Honda drives through with a really nice takedown into side control.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Honda has hold of Thashi's arm. He's looking for a kimura. Thashi seems comfortable defending it but Honda has shifted his position slighty and is cranking on the arm! Thashi is real pain and he's forced to tap out! Thashi is disgusted with himself for not defending it better but Honda couldn't care less - he's delighted!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:07 of round 3, we have a winner by way of Submission (Kimura). Kazuhira Honda! Kazuhira Honda was full of energy after the big win and talked about how he thinks he can do big things in this sport. The crowd were appreciative of his determination to succeed.
