Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Jack Santos (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Zach Wurster (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Chooooooooon! I think Santos might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to RAWR. Zach Wurster is the more experienced fighter, so let's see if that makes a difference tonight.

Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of London, Zach Wurster!
The judges for this bout are Chris Edwards, Richard Clark and Steven Brown.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Wurster throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.

and Santos counters with a shoot takedown. Wurster fights it but they end up in guard.
The referee is asking the fighters to pick up the pace.
Santos looking to sit in guard and control but Wurster gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top.

Santos shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Wurster pinned against the cage. Wurster gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.

Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
A frustrated look appears on Wurster's face as he tries to break the clinch.

Wurster lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Santos circles away quickly and effectively.

Santos tries to clinch but Wurster is having none of it.

Wurster rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Santos moves out of range and avoids them all easily.

A momentary lapse in concentration from Wurster enables Santos to shoot in and score with a neat double leg. Wurster manages to secure a closed guard as the fighters hit the mat.

Wurster really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Santos. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

That was a close round but I would say that Jack Santos will probably get the nod.
The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.

Santos is in full mount, looking to secure a guillotine but Wurster is surviving well by controlling Santos's body position as best he can.

Well I reckon that's a shut out for Santos, winning every round. Will the judges agree? They are the ones who matter, even if they are often depressingly incompetent. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
