Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Andrew Benoit (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Ronnie Wayne (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Benoit's ring entrance music is that housewives' favourite, New Noise. Wayne has chosen Something in the Way by Nirvana as his entrance music. Both fighters look pumped up here. Let's hope this is a good fight!

The judges for this bout are Robert Twigg, George Francis and Stewart Dunkirk.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Benoit shoots for a takedown but Wayne saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily.
Wayne lands a lovely overhand right.
Horrible takedown by Benoit or perhaps it was just good defense by Wayne which made him look bad.
Benoit shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Wayne defends it nicely.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Andrew Benoit. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Wayne stuns Benoit with a nice body shot, before stepping back out of range.
Benoit takes a nice looking leg kick right on the meat of his thigh there.
Benoit takes one on the chin but keeps coming.
Wayne uses good footwork to get in and out, landing a nice hook.
Benoit shoots in looking for a takedown but Wayne manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Benoit's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!

Benoit shoots in for a takedown but Wayne shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet.
Benoit takes a shot right to the liver - Bas would have been proud of that punch.
Benoit is breathing heavily.

Benoit shoots in and gets a takedown into half guard. Benoit showed some decent athleticism there.
Wayne controlling the position well.
Wayne really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Benoit. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
The fighters are battling for position here. Wayne manages to regain full guard. Nice work.

Wayne is avoiding any damage by keeping wrist control.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Benoit working some ground and pound from guard but it's not doing any damage.
We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Wayne can do anything to dispel that myth.
Benoit wants to stand but Wayne has a closed guard, so he can't escape.
Benoit throws a big right hand that misses.
Wayne seems keen to control rather than go for a submission, at least for now.

Ronnie Wayne has forced the referee to step in and restart the fight on the feet.
Wayne throws a low kick but it's checked well by Benoit.

Benoit closes this distance looking for a takedown but Wayne circles away.
Benoit fails with a takedown attempt.
Benoit takes an uppercut right on the button but keeps his composure.
Benoit tries for a takedown but Wayne sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily.
Wayne connects with a good right hand that stumbles Benoit. Benoit circles away out of range and recomposes himself.
Wayne throws a quick inside leg kick.
Wayne lands with a nice body punch.
Benoit takes a punch right to his stomach. That took the wind out of him momentarily.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Wayne scores with a jab to the jaw of his opponent.

Wayne connects with a nice looking jab.

Benoit is rocked!
Wayne drops Benoit with a huge uppercut! Benoit drops to the floor like a sack of potatoes. Wayne is raining down punches and the ref stops the fight! This one is all over!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:16 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Ronnie Wayne!
A relieved looking Ronnie Wayne thanked the fans for their support and gave the usual line about them being amazing. They seemed to believe that he actually meant it.
