Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Josh Franklin (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Rick Tocchet (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both these guys have really solid chins. Will we see a standup war or will they both decide that a knockout is unlikely and try to win the fight elsewhere?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
4 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Josh Franklin! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
3 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Rick Tocchet! The judges for this bout are Cecil Peabody, Stewart Dunkirk and Gwen Towbar.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Franklin shoots in looking for a takedown but Tocchet manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Franklin's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away. Franklin is trying hard to land a takedown here. Tocchet sprawls well and keeps this one on the feet. Tocchet stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Tocchet wants it to stay on the feet. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Josh Franklin. That's going to take a lot out of him. Franklin looks for a takedown but Tocchet sprawls well. Tocchet fakes a head shot and lands one to the body. Franklin is breathing heavily. Franklin needs to keep his hands up - Tocchet had a free shot at his head there.
It looks like Josh Franklin has been cut. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Tocchet shoots in and gets a takedown into Franklin's guard. Tocchet trying to control the position from guard on top but Franklin is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Tocchet slows down the pace of the fight, as he sits in guard.
The ref stands the fighters back up, due to lack of action by Rick Tocchet. Tocchet scores with a jab to the body.
That's one minute gone in the round. Tocchet catches Franklin with a nice straight right. He seems pissed - ooooh, it's on now! On like donkey kong! A decent looking cross lands there for Tocchet. Franklin changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Tocchet tries to avoid it but Franklin manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Tocchet to the ground. Tocchet escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet. Tocchet keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl. Tocchet lands a body shot.
Tocchet looks to land a combination but Franklin avoids it well. A looping hook to the body misses from Tocchet. Franklin does a little dance to reset his feet. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Tocchet lands a body shot.
Tocchet lands a two punch combo.
Franklin takes a body punch that cleary hurt but he's trying not to show any weakness. Tocchet cracks a nice hook into Franklin's ribs. Tocchet scores with a punch to the head.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Both fighters circle each other, looking for something big. Tocchet moves in and throws an overhand right. That hurt Franklin! Tocchet continues to tee off on Franklin, landing with a left and a right! Tocchet connects with a right hand that leaves Franklin sleeping against the cage! What a finish by Tocchet!
