Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Frank Carwin (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Mark Bulman (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Bulman has chosen Opposite of Adults as his entrance music. The key to victory for Frank Carwin has got to be keeping the fight on the feet.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Frank Carwin! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
8 - 6 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Mark Bulman! The judges for this bout are Chris Downing, Wesley Smith and Cecil Peabody.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Bulman bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control. Carwin is trying to stand back up. He's worked his way up against the cage but Bulman has just dragged him back down to the mat. Bulman throws an elbow but Carwin slips to the side and avoids it well. Bulman swings around for an armbar but Carwin sees it coming a mile off and turns beautifully into Bulman's guard. Bulman is looking for a guillotine. You can't force these things though and Carwin defends well. Bulman trying to control the position.
Carwin controls the pace of the fight for a moment. Bulman looking for a sweep. Not yet Bulman, not yet. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Bulman looking for submissions off his back, moving his hips, looking for an opening.
Bulman controls Carwin momentarily but Carwin frees himself.
That's one minute gone in the round. Carwin trying to control but Bulman is working from the bottom. Bulman working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Carwin doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Carwin manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem. Bulman has his foot on Carwin's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Carwin works his way back into a safe position though. Bulman trying to punch from his back but it's not doing any damage. Carwin is looking to stand up but Bulman won't let him. Carwin might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground. Bulman has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Carwin can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself. Bulman is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Bulman looking for submissions from the bottom here. Moving his hips around, possibly looking for an armbar.
Bulman escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Carwin gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance. Carwin has to be careful here, sitting in the guard of a superior BJJ player. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Carwin wants to get up but he can't break Bulman's closed guard. He needs to be careful trying to break the legs open, as he's open to submissions here. Bulman looking to sweep here. No luck so far. Bulman working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Carwin doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Carwin manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem. Carwin sitting in guard here, content to control.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Bulman tries to land a sweep but no joy. Bulman has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Carwin can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself. Carwin wants to get up but he can't break Bulman's closed guard. He needs to be careful trying to break the legs open, as he's open to submissions here. Bulman had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. Carwin defends it easily. Carwin has a momentary lapse of concentration, allowing Bulman to throw up a leg and lock on what appears to be a pretty tight triangle! Carwin is fighting it off but it's all too little too late - Bulman pulls down on the head and he's put Carwin to sleep! This one is all over!
