Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Hjalle Heavy (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Logen Ninefingers (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Ninefingers throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Heavy stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly.
Hjalle Heavy seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Heavy looks for a takedown. He's got it. We're now in half guard.
Ninefingers trying to hold on to Heavy's head to control him but Heavy postures up.

Heavy is working Ninefingers over from the guard. He should look to pass the guard and do a little more damage with these strikes.

Heavy is trying to work a guillotine from the top, or something like that? Don't know how he thinks he's going to get a finish from there.

Ninefingers wants to get back to his feet but Heavy is in a dominant position and won't allow it.

Ninefingers decides to change it up a bit and drives through with a nice takedown into half guard.

Heavy manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Ninefingers manages to get himself to full guard.

Ninefingers is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.
Heavy stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Ninefingers swivels though and keeps the full guard.

Ninefingers throws and elbow that misses. Heavy uses the momentum to reverse the position. He's now in Ninefingers's guard. Nice move by Heavy!

Ninefingers landing heel shots to his opponent's back. Heavy not amused, grabs the leg and drops back, looking for a heel hook. Ninefingers doesn't react quick enough and Heavy cranks it - Ninefingers screams in pain and taps out! That was a really quick submission! Impressive stuff!
