The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A combination from Howard does no damage.
Howard is looking to clinch but Mcinen is avoiding it.

Mcinen has Howard pressed up against the cage. He's trying to work for a single leg takedown. Mcinen pulls back from the cage and twists to the side, sending Howard tumbling to the mat - Mcinen dives into Howard's guard.
