Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Jonathan Goldsmith (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Yabu Kersikov (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Goldsmith comes to the cage accompanied by Dos Equis. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
8 - 7 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Jonathan Goldsmith! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
10 - 3 - 0, fighting out of New York, Yabu Kersikov! The judges for this bout are , Don Winkell and Frank Antenori.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Goldsmith fails with an attempt to clinch.
Kersikov slips a jab and a cross from Goldsmith.
Kersikov clobbers Goldsmith with an overhand right that has the crowd gasping. That made a horrendous noise. Goldsmith gets tackled into the cage by Kersikov. Kersikov maintains the clinch. Goldsmith misses with a short punch on the inside. Kersikov stalls. Kersikov lands with a short punch from the clinch.

Goldsmith has had enough of the clinch and is looking to separate. Kersikov gets underhooks to prevent Goldsmith's takedown attempt.

Goldsmith can't find room to land a body shot as Kersikov controls the action.
Goldsmith lands with a quick shot inside that doesn't really do much damage. Kersikov avoiding damage.
Kersikov tries to land a shot to the body but it's blocked.
That's one minute gone in the round. Goldsmith escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
A good leg kick by Kersikov. Kersikov scores with a kick to the midsection. Kersikov closes the distance and clinches. Kersikov lands a left hand that snaps the head of Goldsmith backwards. Kersikov goes for a body shot but it's blocked.
Kersikov lands with a good tight uppercut to the head. A nice left hand lands by Goldsmith.
A shot in the inside from Kersikov. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Goldsmith ties up his opponent against the cage and manages to drag the fight down to the ground. Goldsmith no doubt will be looking to work submissions from his guard. If this pace continues, the referee will definitely step in and force a standup. Kersikov lying in Goldsmith's guard like a wet fish here, stalling away. Goldsmith decides he's had enough of all that nonsense - he escapes his hips and locks up an armbar! Wow, that was slick! Kersikov taps! This one is aaaaaaaaaaall over!
