Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Jonah Roncesvalles (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jack Black (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Jack Black will no doubt be trying to keep this one on the feet, where he has a distinct advantage.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Roncesvalles shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Black as he avoids it easily.
Black is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Roncesvalles.
Black lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Roncesvalles circles away quickly and effectively.
A nice combination there by Black.
It looks like Jonah Roncesvalles has been cut.
Roncesvalles fails with the takedown.
Donk. Black catches Roncesvalles right on the button with a cross.
Jack Black seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Black will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.

Black throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.

Roncesvalles tries to bum rush Black with a series of wild strikes but Black uses good footwork to avoid the assault.

Black tries to stand but Roncesvalles is controlling from the bottom.
Roncesvalles seems keen to control rather than go for a submission, at least for now.

The referee looks like he's ready to step in and stand the fighters back up.
Black pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Roncesvalles is keeping the position for now.
Black throws a strike but Roncesvalles rolls with it and manages to sweep. Now he's in guard on top.
Roncesvalles pushes down on Black's leg and manages to get into half guard.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Black has hold of Roncesvalles's hands but Roncesvalles slips his arm to the side and lands an elbow.
Roncesvalles has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.
Roncesvalles is taking a breather. Black says something to him but it's hard to make out. Perhaps he's telling him to get on with it and actually do something.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Black is in trouble now - Roncesvalles has advanced to mount!
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Roncesvalles jumps to the side looking to secure the arm triangle…. Ooooh, that looks tight… Black is gargling but he's managed to escape! Nice work there by Black and Roncesvalles has given up the dominant position trying to land that submission.
Black is trying to get back to half guard. He's pushing on Roncesvalles's leg. He's managed it. Nice work.

A close round but Jack Black will probably get the nod.

and Roncesvalles connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.
