Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Tony Mendez (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jonny Roberts (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Roberts is bobbing his head along to his entrance song: Killing In The Name Of - By Rage Against The Machine. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The judges for this bout are Frank Dennis, George Francis and Tiny Johnson.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Roberts misses with a hook.
Mendez on the wrong end of a nice low kick. He's acting like it's no big deal but he doesn't want to take many more of those.
Roberts misses with a series of wild punches.
Roberts throws a looping overhand right but Mendez ducks down to avoid it.
Mendez changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Roberts tries to avoid it but Mendez manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Roberts to the ground. Roberts escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.

Mendez isolates an arm and boxes in a triangle. Roberts stacks Mendez on his neck as he steps over and passes to the side. He's now in a much more dominant position where he can look to do some serious damage. Nice move by Roberts!
Roberts is pausing for a moment. What's he doing? It looks like he's clearing his nose. Oh dude! He's shot a load of snot all down Mendez's shoulder. That is not cool.
Mendez is looking to regain half guard here but Roberts keeps moving and retains side control.

I would just about give that final round to Jonny Roberts.
