Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Roberto Kopite (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Luke Lashley (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Lashley has chosen Hustlin as his entrance music, which hasn't gone down very well with the crowd. Luke Lashley has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
17 - 12 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Roberto Kopite! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
8 - 11 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Luke Lashley! The judges for this bout are Albert Achterberg, Nard Betker and Wagner Zegers.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Lashley shoots in for a takedown but Kopite shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet. Kopite takes a body punch that cleary hurt but he's trying not to show any weakness. Lashley rushes Kopite and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch. Lashley drags the fight down to the ground.
Kopite wants to stand but Lashley has a closed guard, so he can't escape. Kopite drops back for a leg but he's not going to get it - he lets go and Lashley dives on top into guard. Lashley is working the ground and pound from guard. He might want to try advancing position though to get more of an impact. Lashley works over Kopite with some ground and pound from guard. Lashley loading up with the ground and pound but he's missing more than he's landing in this flurry. Kopite really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape. Lashley with a flurry of punches that miss. Lashley postures up in Kopite's guard and throws a big left but Kopite blocks it. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Lashley keeps in close for a moment and lands a decent shot to the side of Kopite's head. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
That's one minute gone in the round. Lashley working some ground and pound from guard but it's not doing any damage. Lashley passes easily into side control. Nice work. Lashley working the body and head with strikes. Lashley working the ground and pound from side control. Lashley lands a knee to the body and follows it up with some ground and pound to the head. That will wear Kopite down.

Kopite is rocked! Lashley working the ground and pound but Kopite is defending the strikes. Oh Kopite is still in real trouble! Will he be able to recover?!! Lashley lands a decent elbow from side control. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Lashley working away diligently from side control. Landing strikes effectively there - that will score him some points on the judges scorecards.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Lashley thinks about going for a far side armbar but bails out and retains the dominant position instead. The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily. Lashley lands an elbow. Kopite manages to get back to half guard. Kopite seems to have got his legs back now. Lashley thumps the canvas. Not on purpose obviously - he just missed Kopite's head. Lashley is thwarting Kopite's attempts to control the position. Lashley sitting in half guard, looking to land shots. Kopite defending well though. Kopite taking some punishment here, with Lashley in his half guard.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Lashley not throwing his punches with enough precision this time. Lashley working Kopite over with strikes. Lashley takes advantage of the dominant position to land a couple of big hammer fists. Lashley has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan. Kopite keeping his head moving to avoid the ground and pound. Kopite looking for submissions off his back. Lashley sitting in half guard, looking to land shots. Kopite defending well though. Lashley frees up his trapped foot and advances to mount. Lashley scoring with strikes but Kopite is staying in there.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Kopite in a bad spot here, taking shots to the head. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Lashley lands a big shot there that rocks Kopite but he's holding on and managing to survive for now.
Lashley landing strikes, looking to finish! Oooooh, big shot lands for Lashley! Kopite is hurt baaadly! Lashley is firing away with more strikes - Kopite is covering up... the ref is warning him to do something. He's just covering up though still and the ref has to step in to end the fight! This one is all over!
