PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Bruce Lee (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Ivan Dulin (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Lee's ring entrance music is that housewives' favourite, Dragonfly by Shaman's Harvest. Dulin has chosen Slipknot - Before I Forget as his entrance music, which hasn't gone down very well with the crowd. I don't know about you partner, but I'm pumped for this one!

And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 16 - 3 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Ivan Dulin!
The judges for this bout are Illya Tyunina, Konstantin Menshow and Dmitry Maklakov.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Dulin misses with a series of wild punches.
A slapping leg kick lands for Lee.
Lee misses with a wild body shot.
Lee lands a nice leg kick that just misses Dulin's sensitive parts.
Dulin ducks down and throws a hook to the body.
Lee lands with an overhand left.
Dulin moves away from the strike by Lee.
Dulin lets loose with a powerful body kick. Lee will feel that in the morning.
That kick from Lee tenderised Dulin's leg. Dulin is trying to keep his angry face on.
Dulin needs to keep his hands up - Lee had a free shot at his head there.

Dulin sees a low kick coming and goes to check it, but it's actually a body kick and it thuds into his unprotected ribs.

Some bone on bone action there as Dulin checks a low kick. Luckily it wasn't a particularly hard one.

Dulin takes a jab right on the nose. That must have hurt but he shrugs his shoulders and looks to return the favor.

Dulin shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Lee as he avoids it easily.

Bruce Lee seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Lee takes a nasty kick to the mid section... That should keep him thinking. Does he try and block and risk a head kick landing?

Dulin takes a really solid shot there but just smiles back and shrugs his shoulders.

Dulin throws a leg kick which misses Lee's front leg but catches the back leg as Lee tries to avoid it.

The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!

Lee tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Dulin was well out of range. Poor timing from Lee.

and Lee counters with a low kick, right behind Dulin 's knee.

Dulin slips under a jab from Lee.
Lee connects with a leg kick. Dulin looked like he was expecting something else and didn't defend it.

Dulin tries to circle away but Lee has him pinned against the cage.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Dulin wants to push off and get back to the center of the mat but Lee has him pressed against the cage.

With the fighters clinched against the cage, Lee creates a bit of distance for himself and scores with a nice uppercut.
Dulin is looking to break free of the clinch but Lee has double underhooks.

Lee lands a body punch - he's looking to wear down Dulin.
Dulin is looking to score with knees to the body. Maybe he'll change it up and go body then head. Lee is defending well for now.
Dulin has hold of a leg and is looking for a trip takedown. Lee avoids it nicely though and we remain in the clinch.
Dulin is looking for a takedown up against the cage. Lee gets underhooks though and prevents the takedown attempt.
Bruce Lee has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Ivan Dulin.
