Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between John Bricks (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Tommy Vercetti (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Vercetti has chosen Best Instrumental Beat Ever! as his entrance music. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of New York, John Bricks! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 4 - 0, fighting out of New York, Tommy Vercetti! The judges for this bout are Anthony Taglia, Columbo Gatti and Eddie Farnsworth.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Vercetti slaps away a takedown attempt from Bricks, before circling back to the center of the mat. Vercetti misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out. Vercetti closes the distance and clinches. Bricks is pushing Vercetti up against the cage, for a bit of lean and pray action. Action being used the in the loosest possible sense of the word. Bricks gets double underhooks to prevent a takedown attempt from Vercetti.

John Bricks has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Tommy Vercetti. Vercetti has hold of a leg and is looking for a trip takedown. Bricks avoids it nicely though and we remain in the clinch. Vercetti tries for a takedown but Bricks manages to get underhooks.
Bricks has clasped his hands together around Vercetti's back... aaand, he's got a takedown into side control. Nicely done. Bricks has had enough of the ground for now and decides to stand. Bricks decides to change it up a bit and drives through with a nice takedown into half guard. Vercetti really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Bricks. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Bricks content to sit in half guard and control for a moment.
That's one minute gone in the round. Bricks escapes and gets back to his feet. Vercetti stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Vercetti wants it to stay on the feet. Vercetti fails with a takedown attempt. Vercetti shoots in and drives through. Bricks sprawls well. Vercetti shoots for a takedown but Bricks saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily. Vercetti looks gassed! Vercetti forces Bricks back against the cage and clinches. Bricks turns his back and goes for a hip toss. It's a bit messy but it gets the job done and Bricks manages to end up in side control. Bricks staying calm. Vercetti wants to improve his position, back to half guard but Bricks has ideas of his own. He's got hold of Vercetti's far side arm and it looks like he's got an Americana. Ohh! Ohhhh! OOOOOOOOOH! A human being's arm is not meant to bend like that! Vercetti is tapping like a morse code operator on the Titanic! SOS SOS! He's out of here! Great win for Bricks!
