Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Leeroy Jenkins! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of London, Jordan Bob! The judges for this bout are Andrew Berry, James Glass and Colin Fotheringham.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Jenkins feints and as Bob raises his hands in defense, Jenkins changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard. Jenkins trying to control the position from guard on top but Bob is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Bob is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive. Jenkins pushes down on Bob's leg and manages to get into half guard. Jenkins trying to mount his opponent but Bob defends it. Bob tries to roll over but Jenkins keeps him under control. Jenkins is thwarting Bob's attempts to control the position. Jenkins is thinking about going for an arm triangle but he can't free his leg.
Bob wants to get back to his feet. Bob really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Jenkins. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
That's one minute gone in the round. Bob wants to control but Jenkins is keeping busy and won't allow it. Jenkins is looking for a kimura. It's going to be difficult to finish that from half guard though and Bob defends it well. Bob is looking to control Jenkins's leg but it's slowly edging free. Can Bob avoid being mounted?
Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up. Jenkins tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion. Jenkins fails with a takedown attempt from distance. Jenkins is breathing heavily. Jenkins throws a sloppy head kick and Bob moves out of range easily. Bob scores with a nice head shot. Jenkins throws a series of strikes that have Bob backpedaling.

That's two minutes gone in the round. Jenkins has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Bob can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself. Jenkins is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move. Bob is trying to get back to full guard. Jenkins wants to pass the guard but Bob is defending well. The two fighters exchange a few words. I couldn't hear what they were saying but maybe it's more fun if you make it up yourself. Jenkins connects with a nice short shot to Bob's temple. Jenkins wants to control but Bob is keeping him busy. Bob won't allow Jenkins to pass to mount. Bob is a painfully thin specimen of a man. Jenkins closes the distance and clinches up with Bob, looking for a takedown. Jenkins pushes Bob against the cage but Bob circles to the side and manages to break the clinch. A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Jenkins. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Leeroy Jenkins. That's going to take a lot out of him. Bob fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Jenkins sprawls well initially but Bob persists and gets the takedown into half guard. Jenkins manages to escape and get back to his feet!
