Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Adam Carolla (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Rodrigo Mangabeira (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Carolla comes to the cage accompanied by Gotta Get It On from Taboo 2. Rodrigo Mangabeira has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 12 - 6 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Rodrigo Mangabeira!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Carolla throws a right and a left that both miss.
Carolla misses with a double jab.
Carolla swinging wildly here.

Mangabeira moves into the clinch.
Carolla leaning against his opponent.
Carolla jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Mangabeira walks away with a smile on his face. Carolla gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head.
Mangabeira is looking to land body kicks.
Carolla throws a looping overhand right but Mangabeira ducks down to avoid it.

Mangabeira tries to clinch but Carolla moves away
and Carolla counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw.
Mangabeira closes the distance looking to clinch
and Carolla counters with a nice uppercut.
Mangabeira tries to clinch up but Carolla circles away and keeps his distance.
Mangabeira tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in the close the distance. Carolla manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.
Carolla moves away from the strike by Mangabeira.

Mangabeira forces Carolla back against the cage and clinches.

Carolla throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Mangabeira stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly.

Mangabeira throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land.
Carolla lands with an uppercut that bounces Mangabeira off the cage and back into range.
Mangabeira avoids a lazy jab quite easily.
Carolla lands a jab to the head.
Mangabeira tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in the close the distance. Carolla manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.
The fighters circle momentarily. Carolla darts into range and connects with a nice straight punch.

Carolla rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Mangabeira moves out of range and avoids them all easily.

Mangabeira walks straight into a jab right on the nose. That one stung - he's blinking and trying to clear his head.
Both fighters are looking to counter, which isn't making for the most exciting fight in the world.
Carolla fakes and then throws a beautiful body shot. Mangabeira looks a bit winded and takes a step backwards to take a breath.

Carolla slips in close and lands a nice hook before moving back out of range.

The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.

We are yet to see a takedown attempt from Mangabeira in the fight. On paper you would think he is the more dominant ground fighter so let's see if these unusual tactics pay off.

Well I reckon that's a shut out for Carolla, winning every round. Will the judges agree? They are the ones who matter, even if they are often depressingly incompetent. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
