Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Gil Brother (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Daniel Kosak (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Kosak comes into a darkened arena with his song building. Mark Petrie - Can't Give Up kicks in, the lights come on and the crowd goes wild! What a showman! Gil Brother has the edge in experience - let's see if he can make that count tonight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
2 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Gil Brother! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Daniel Kosak! The judges for this bout are Paulo Santos, Luis Engracia and Emerson Jorge.
 The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Kosak gets tackled into the cage by Brother. Brother maintains the clinch. Brother with the Thai clinch. He's looking to land a big knee but he's not managed it this time.
Brother has clasped his hands together around Kosak's back... aaand, he's got a takedown into side control. Nicely done. We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake. You can see the frustration on Kosak's face, being in this tough position on the bottom. Kosak is looking for a sweep. The referee tells the fighters to keep busy.

Brother decides to stand back up. Brother steps back and let's Kosak get back to his feet. Kosak fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
 That's one minute gone in the round. Kosak moves out of range as Brother strikes.
Kosak drops Brother with a left and a right! Oh, Brother is hurt - Kosak dives into side control looking to finish!

It looks like Gil Brother has been cut. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Kosak trying to control the action but Brother is working from the bottom.
Kosak looking for an arm triangle but it's way too loose to do anything. Kosak controls the position from side control. Brother is trying to get back to half guard.

Kosak stands up and beckons Brother to his feet. Nice body punch from Kosak.
Brother shoots in and scores a nice double leg takedown into half guard.
Brother decides to stand up. Kosak throws a right and a left that Brother avoids nicely. Brother tries to work over Kosak's front leg with a kick but Kosak checks it. Kosak throws a sloppy head kick and Brother moves out of range easily. Kosak throws a wild body kick that Brother sees coming a mile off.
 That's three minutes gone in the round.
Brother drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Kosak looks gassed!
Brother stands up. Kosak tries to score with an inside leg kick but telegraphs it and Brother is able to avoid easily. Brother checks a leg kick. Kosak fails with an attempt to clinch.
Kosak looks for the body kick but Brother saw that one coming. Kosak looks to land a right hand but Brother moved out of range. Kosak looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily. No joy there for Kosak, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Brother is looking for a takedown here. He's shot in and has managed to get it, finishing up in Kosak's half guard. Kosak is trying to stand.
 That's four minutes gone in the round. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Brother frees up his trapped foot and advances to mount. Brother throwing sloppy strikes here. Perhaps if he tightened up his striking from such a dominant position, he'd be able to finish easier.
Brother has hold of Kosak's left arm, perhaps looking for a submission. The two fighters tussle over control of the isolated limb and Kosak manages to get his arm back to his side and away from danger.
Brother punching from mount but Kosak doing a good job of avoiding damage. The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action! Brother thowing strikes but they're hitting the gloves, not doing any damage. Brother throwing strikes here but Kosak is writhing around nicely and avoiding any serious damage.
And that�s the end of the round � the fighters go back to their corners.
A close round but Daniel Kosak will probably get the nod. The cut man is working on Gil Brother's cut. The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business.

Brother shoots in and gets a takedown into Kosak's guard. Brother wants to control from the top but Kosak keeps moving. Brother slows down the pace of the fight for a moment. He'll need to remain active if he doesn't want to see the fight stood back up.
Brother stands up from guard. Let's bang! Brother takes a shot to the nose. Hopefully that hasn't broken it. Brother checks a low kick from Kosak. Kosak scores with a kick to the body.
This has been an exciting period of action! Kosak throws a mid kick that lands with a slap.
Kosak instigates a clinch. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.

 That's one minute gone in the round. Kosak trying to control the position from guard on top but Brother is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Brother trying to control the position.
Brother wants to sweep here but Kosak controlling him for the moment. We may be looking at a referee standup if the pace doesn't pick up soon. Brother is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent.
 That's two minutes gone in the round.
 The referee decides to stand the fighters back up. Kosak throws a solid leg kick but Brother takes the impact on his shin and smiles at Kosak.
Kosak closes the distance and presses his opponent up against the cage.
Kosak breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Daniel Kosak seems to be getting the better of the standup.
Brother closes the distance and scores a nice trip takedown into half guard. Kosak did well to prevent Brother getting side control. Kosak wants to get back to his feet.
Brother is thinking about going for an arm triangle but he can't free his leg.
Brother is pressing down on Kosak's thigh, looking to free his foot. Kosak is holding on for now. Kosak wants to improve his position but Brother is controlling well.
 That's three minutes gone in the round. Brother is looking to advance position but Kosak won't allow it. Brother thows a wild elbow that connects with the canvas.
Brother decides to stand up.
Kosak gets to the clinch - let's see what his plan is here.

A momentary lapse in concentration from Kosak enables Brother to shoot in and score with a neat double leg. Kosak manages to secure a closed guard as the fighters hit the mat. Brother trying to control the position from guard on top but Kosak is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
 That's four minutes gone in the round. Kosak is trying to control the position from the bottom.
Kosak looking for submissions from the bottom but instead Brother passes into side control.
Kosak looking for a sweep but Brother has passed into full mount! Oh no! We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Brother lands a big shot there that rocks Kosak but he's holding on and managing to survive for now.
And that�s the end of the round � the fighters go back to their corners.

Gil Brother overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far. Brother won't allow Kosak to sweep him here. Brother pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Kosak is keeping the position for now. Kosak takes a big intake of breath there - he's definitely tired.
 That's one minute gone in the round. Kosak keeping moving, preventing Brother from controlling successfully.
 Gil Brother has forced the referee to step in and bring the fight back to the feet.
Brother looking to shoot here. He's gone for it and he's landed a takedown into mount! Oh, that's bad for Kosak! Brother controlling his opponent. Brother's ground tactics aren't going to win him many fans. Let's hope he's got fireworks for us if he gets back to his feet because he's not doing much on the ground. Kosak manages to regain half guard. Good work.
 That's two minutes gone in the round. Brother is keen to just control but Kosak is a slippery customer.

The fight moves into the clinch position. Brother tries to work over Kosak's body with a swooping hook but it only glances the target.

Brother decides to pull guard. Kosak would like to get this fight back to the feet but can't get free from the closed guard. Kosak stopping the sweep attempt from Brother. Brother trying to keep a closed guard but Kosak is proving a slippery customer.
Brother is really struggling to control Kosak but he's trying to hold on to the position.
 That's four minutes gone in the round. Brother is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move. Brother is controlling the pace.
Brother is pressing down on Kosak's thigh, looking to free his foot. Kosak is holding on for now. Gil Brother has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here! Daniel Kosak is fighting for a decision - hopefully he's judged it right and he's actually winning the fight. The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. Brother is keeping good posture, landing some ground and pound.
And that's the end of the fight! Gil Brother showed his dominance in that final round. I think Kosak has won this one but let's see whether the judges agree with me. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
