Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 5 rounds, for the bantamweight championship of the world!
Introducing the champion to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

11 - 3 - 0, fighting out of London, Dr Gonzo!
And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
8 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Glenn Hughes!
The judges for this bout are Aafke Stam, Paulsen Ambrosius and Patrick Alders.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Hughes wants to clinch but Gonzo slips to the side
and Gonzo counters with a single leg into guard. Hughes didn't expect that.
Gonzo is looking to stand up but Hughes won't let him.
Gonzo controlling from the guard. I say controlling but really, he's stalling.
Hughes working the defensive guard well to avoid strikes from Gonzo.
Hughes avoiding any damage from the ground and pound.
Gonzo wants to pass the guard but Hughes is keeping the position.
Gonzo working some strikes from top position.
Gonzo gets to his feet and steps away from his opponent.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Nice sprawl there from Hughes as Gonzo shoots in.
Hughes wants to clinch
and Gonzo counters with a straight right hand.
Gonzo lands an overhand left. A wild punch that just about connected.
Hughes closes the distance looking to clinch
and Gonzo makes him pay by landing a nice hook to the body before moving out of range.
Hughes darts in trying to clinch
and Gonzo counters with a nice double leg into side control. Hughes won't be happy with that.
Gonzo misses with a strike but at least he's keeping busy, looking to cause some damage - that will still help him when it comes to the judges scorecards.
Gonzo sitting in side control, looking to soften his opponent up with elbows and hammerfists but Hughes is avoiding damage well and looking to escape the position.
Gonzo has hold of Hughes's arm here. He's working for an Americana. It looks like he might have it! Hughes tries to escape but he's just digging himself in deeper - Gonzo cranks the arm and Hughes screams in pain! The ref makes a decision and ends the fight before the tap - no complains from Hughes, who is just happy to have his arm attached to his body.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:59 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Americana). Dr Gonzo!
Dr Gonzo is the new bantamweight champion!
