Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Stevie Wonder!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 2 - 0, fighting out of London, Woody Forrest!
The judges for this bout are James Ackerman, Sam Margolis and Richard Clark.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Wonder throws an overhand right that lands on Forrest's shoulder, as Forrest tries to avoid the shot.
No joy there for Wonder, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Wonder takes a step back and watches a body kick go sailing past his mid section.
Forrest closes the distance but Wonder moves to the side
and Wonder counters with a quick right hand to the jaw.


It looks like Woody Forrest has been cut.
Wonder throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Forrest.
Forrest looks to land a combination. Wonder sees it coming but can only parry a couple of the shots.


It looks like Stevie Wonder has been cut.
Wonder stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Wonder wants it to stay on the feet.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Wonder moves into range and clinches up with Forrest.

Wonder breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.

Forrest tries to keep at a distance but Wonder has taken the fight into the clinch.
Wonder prevents Forrest from breaking the clinch.
Wonder has Forrest pressed against the cage, preventing Forrest from circling away and getting back to striking at range.
Forrest wants to strike at distance but he can't break free of the clinch.

Wonder breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Wonder takes a swing at Forrest's ribcage but misses.

Forrest gets tackled into the cage by Wonder. Wonder maintains the clinch.

That's one minute gone in the round.

Wonder's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.
Wonder throws a combination that misses
and Forrest counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head.
Stevie Wonder is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
Forrest throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
Wonder throws out a loose jab but Forrest uses good head movement to avoid it.
Forrest takes a really solid shot there but just smiles back and shrugs his shoulders.
Wonder lands a jab and follows it up with a massive straight that knocks Forrest out cold! Forrest is crumpled in the corner, his head only propped up by the cage! That's one for the organiziational promos right there! Wow, what a finish!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:26 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punches). Stevie Wonder!
A very excited looking Stevie Wonder made sure he remembered to thank all the fans both in the arena and on the internet. He said all the coolest people spend all day on MMA websites, which got a big reaction.
