Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Eddie O Hare (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Luigi Watanabe (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). O Hare comes into the arena with Starland Vocal Band - Afternoon Delight blaring out of the sound system. Watanabe has chosen Bad Man A Step as his entrance music, which hasn't gone down very well with the crowd. Eddie O Hare has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 12 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Eddie O Hare!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 10 - 8 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Luigi Watanabe!
The judges for this bout are Robert Douchet, Alec Ball and Ian Loll.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Watanabe misses with a combination
and O Hare counters with a nice low kick that buckles Watanabe's knee momentarily.
Watanabe lands a glancing blow to the side of O Hare's head.
Watanabe will need to close the distance a bit before he attacks - that leg kick was thrown from too far away.
Watanabe tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but O Hare swivels and escapes.

No joy there for Watanabe, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
O Hare buckles his opponent's knee momentarily with a nice leg kick.

Luigi Watanabe seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Watanabe has his hands up protecting his head but a hook from O Hare finds it's way round the side to connect with Watanabe's head.

Horrible takedown by Watanabe or perhaps it was just good defense by O Hare which made him look bad.

The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Watanabe will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.

Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:46 of round 2, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Eddie O Hare!
A relieved looking Eddie O Hare thanked the fans for their support and gave the usual line about them being amazing. They seemed to believe that he actually meant it.
