Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between David Murphy (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Wendell Diefendorf (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Diefendorf has chosen Welcome to the Jungle as his entrance music. Both these guys have really solid chins. Will we see a standup war or will they both decide that a knockout is unlikely and try to win the fight elsewhere?

The judges for this bout are Elvis Blanc, Robert Douchet and Alec Ball.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Murphy on the wrong end of a nice hook.
Diefendorf throws out a powerful jab.
Decent striking displayed by Diefendorf there.
A telegraphed right hand from Diefendorf misses the target.
Murphy lands a leg kick and bounces back out of range.

Murphy steps to the side to avoid the strikes from Diefendorf.
Murphy with a nice cross.
Diefendorf throws a jab but it's blocked by Murphy.
Diefendorf throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
Diefendorf throws an off balance right hand
and Murphy connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.
Murphy dips down and scores with a jab to the body.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Murphy throws a mid kick that lands with a slap.
Diefendorf throws a wild combination but nothing lands.
Diefendorf throws a leg kick
and Murphy counters with a leg kick that reverborates around the arena.
Diefendorf takes a hook to the side of the head. I wonder if that's got his ears ringing.
Murphy throws a shot from downtown. Diefendorf moves away and avoids it.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Diefendorf looks shocked there as he takes a right hand to the temple.
It looks like Wendell Diefendorf has been cut.
Nice uppercut lands for Murphy. That snapped Diefendorf's head back.
Diefendorf looks to land a body kick but Murphy moved away.
Murphy stumbles momentarily as he takes a strong leg kick from Diefendorf.
Diefendorf takes a big uppercut there. He seems a bit wobbly but no, he's OK.
Diefendorf is rocked!
Murphy throws a right and a left that Diefendorf avoids nicely.
Diefendorf is still on wobbly legs! Can Murphy finish him?
Diefendorf throws an off balance right hand
and Murphy counters with a head kick that wobbles Diefendorf - left then right he sways and one more bomb from Murphy sends him down. This one is all over!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:32 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). David Murphy!
After winning the bout, David Murphy thanked all his fans and promised he'd do even better in his next fight. The crowd seemed to love his humility.
