Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between John Morrison (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Korey Reid (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Chooooooooon! I think Morrison might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to Nightmare. Man, I cannot wait for this one!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
4 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, John Morrison! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
11 - 7 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Korey Reid! The judges for this bout are Yves DeLean, Alec Ball and Dillan Fox.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Morrison shoots in but no luck this time. Reid displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Morrison. Reid stalks Morrison and leaps in with a furious combination of punches. Uppercuts and crosses smash into Morrison's face. Morrison staggers backwards, shaken. Morrison takes a punch right to his stomach. That took the wind out of him momentarily. Like a baseball bat into the meat of his leg there - nice leg kick by Reid.
No joy there for Reid, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Morrison shoots in for a takedown but Reid shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for John Morrison. That's going to take a lot out of him. Morrison on the wrong end of an overhand right that came out of nowhere. Reid lands with a two punch combination before moving back out of range.
Reid misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
Morrison misses with a takedown attempt - Reid sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses. Morrison tries for a takedown but Reid circles away easily and Reid counters with a nice body shot. Morrison doesn't succeed with the takedown and Reid counters with a lovely straight right hand! Reid lands a jab, followed by a cross and another cross, as Morrison backs up against the cage.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Morrison will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts. Morrison has his head slapped from side to side by a 3 punch combination. That must have hurt him. Reid throws a two punch combo that lands nicely.
Morrison is rocked! Morrison is on the wrong end of a nice combination from Reid. Oh Morrison is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!! A jab from Reid finds it's way through Morrison's defenses.
That's one minute gone in the round. Reid throws a 1-2 combo that connects squarely on Morrison's jaw, knocking him onto his back! Reid dives in looking to finish as Morrison flails his arms in a desperate attempt to block Reid's strikes! Reid is raining down hammerfists and the ref stops it! Morrison's desperate flailing just didn't constitute intelligent defence. Some people will probably question the ref's decision but Morrison was definitely hurt and the ref saved him from taking unnecessary punishment. A fighter's safety is paramount in this sport.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:06 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Korey Reid! Korey Reid seemed lost for words in his post fight interview but he remembered to thank his fans and directed everyone to his website.
