Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Vismund Cygnus (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Mark Jones (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters will be looking to make this an exciting fight for the fans, I'm sure!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Winston Howard, Steve Erwin and Donatello Bradman.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Cygnus shoots in but Jones avoids the takedown attempt easily.
Nice sprawl there from Cygnus as Jones shoots in.
Jones throws a series of punches but Cygnus moves out of range.
Cygnus darts in and clinches Jones up against the cage.
A frustrated look appears on Cygnus's face as he tries to break the clinch.
Jones's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.
Jones throws a wild combination but nothing lands.
Jones circles away from the clinch attempt.
Cygnus tries to close the distance and clinch but Jones swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.
Jones fails with the takedown.
Jones avoids a punch combination nicely.
A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Cygnus.

Cygnus throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Jones's waist but Jones gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Cygnus off to one side.

Jones keeps the fight on the outside.
Jones pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Jones throws a sloppy head kick and Cygnus moves out of range easily.

The referee looks like he's ready to step in and stand the fighters back up.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Cygnus has an omoplata and is looking to use it perhaps as a submission or perhaps to transition. Jones is in a bit of discomfort here, but he's managed to free himself and has dived into side control! That didn't work out too well for Cygnus.

Jones is looking to take a break and control but Cygnus is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.
Jones moving around in side mount but really he's just happy to control for now.
Cygnus tries to bench press Jones off him but Jones keeps the position.

Jones seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Cygnus does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back.
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.
Jones is looking for an arm triangle, whilst trying to pass to side control. Cygnus doesn't seem that keen to cooperate though. No luck this time Jones.

Cygnus tries to score a power double leg takedown but Jones sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Cygnus somewhat.

Jones trying to control the position but instead, Cygnus has worked for underhooks and has pushed Jones into the cage.

As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to Vismund Cygnus.
Well Cygnus has outscored his opponent in every aspect of the fight today. Only a scarily incompetent judge or two will keep him from a well deserved win... Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
