The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Asas staying out of range there.
Pytong lands a powerful looking uppercut that connected with his opponent's jaw.
Asas scores with a sloppy right hand. Pytong should have avoided that one.
Asas misses with a straight left.

Pytong shoots in and gets a takedown into half guard. Pytong showed some decent athleticism there.
Pytong wants to free his trapped foot but Asas is holding on for dear life with his legs.

Pytong throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
Pytong uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Asas.
Pytong steps to the side to avoid the strikes from Asas.
Asas throws a feint and then finishes with a kick to the body.
Asas throws a right and a left that both miss.
Icaro Asas is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
Asas's corner calls for a 1-2. Asas obliges with the 1 part as he scores the single shot and moves back out of range.
Asas is using his reach advantage well here, landing the more effective single shots from range.
Pytong will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts.
Pytong tries to score a power double leg takedown but Asas sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Pytong somewhat.

Asas rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Pytong moves out of range and avoids them all easily.

Pytong works Asas's body with a nice hook.
Pytong throws a body punch but Asas moves out of range.
Both fighters are looking to counter, which isn't making for the most exciting fight in the world.
Asas slips a straight right by Pytong.
Asas throws a solid leg kick but Pytong takes the impact on his shin and smiles at Asas.

Icaro Asas has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Artur Pytong.

Asas stuffs the takedown.
Asas cracks Pytong with a nice right hand that draws applause from the crowd.
Asas moves into range and throws a lovely three punch combination.

A combination from Asas does no damage.
Pytong blocks a head kick by Asas.
Asas throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Pytong stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly.
Asas moves out of range of the strikes.
Pytong throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Asas rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Pytong moves out of range and avoids them all easily.
Pytong swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Icaro Asas dominated that second round.
That's time! Back to the action! So, we enter the final round. Let's see if either fighter can bring us a finish, or whether we're going to the judges scorecards.

Asas connects with an inside leg kick.
Asas tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
Pytong shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Asas as he avoids it easily.
Asas tries to score with an inside leg kick but telegraphs it and Pytong is able to avoid easily.
Pytong throws a hook to the side of Asas's head but Asas sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully.
Asas feints a jab promting Pytong to slip. Asas then demonstrates his capabilities by jabbing again. Pytong slips again and ducks right into an uppercut.
Pytong is really struggling to land any decent head shots against his taller opponent.
Pytong takes a hook to the side of the head. I wonder if that's got his ears ringing.

Pytong slips a straight right by Asas.
Asas takes a punch to the jaw and another one to the bread basket.
Asas goes for a spinning back kick but it misses.

Icaro Asas is winning the standup battle so far.
Pytong avoids a low kick by using good footwork.

Pytong fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt.
Pytong shoots in for a double leg but Asas sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.
Icaro Asas has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Artur Pytong.

and Pytong counters with a shot to the ribs. That looked like it hurt.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.
