Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between The Matrix (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Lewis McClure (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, The Matrix! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Lewis McClure! The judges for this bout are James Atkins, James Glass and Andrew Berry.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Nice body kick there by McClure. Matrix shoots in for a takedown but McClure shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet. McClure slips a jab and a cross from Matrix.
Matrix shoots in but McClure avoids the takedown attempt easily. McClure tries to clinch but Matrix is having none of it. McClure shoots in looking for a takedown. Matrix tries to sprawl out of it but McClure keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Matrix manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing. Matrix misses with a kick to the body and McClure counters by moving into the clinch. Matrix has dropped down and is looking to force the takedown but it's defended by McClure after a bit of a struggle. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for The Matrix. That's going to take a lot out of him. McClure pulls guard. Matrix stops McClure from standing up. McClure trying to control the position here. Matrix trying to control but McClure is working from the bottom.
That's one minute gone in the round. McClure is trying to hold Matrix in close to prevent damage but Matrix has managed to pass into half guard.

McClure working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Matrix doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Matrix manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. McClure has Matrix pulled in close to control his posture.

Matrix not throwing his punches with enough precision this time. Matrix throwing shots but they're hitting the canvas more than the man. McClure avoiding damage under a succession of punches from Matrix. Matrix lands with an elbow from half guard - that looked like it hurt. McClure wants to get back to full guard but Matrix has mounted him!
That's three minutes gone in the round. Matrix tucks in and makes sure he doesn't lose the dominant position. McClure is trying to escape but when you're mounted that's not too easy.
McClure looks gassed! McClure is just holding on here. Matrix manages to take his back.
I would not like to be McClure right now.

That's four minutes gone in the round. Matrix is controlling the position but McClure somehow manages to roll and ends up with half guard.
Matrix is trying to advance to mount but he's lost his balance and McClure reverses the position - he's now on top in Matrix's guard. Matrix throws a couple of shots from the bottom but they don't land. The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. Matrix manages to land a sweep and now he's in mount on top!
Matrix lands a shot to the body, followed up by a shot to the exposed head of his trapped opponent.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
That was a close round but I would say that The Matrix will probably get the nod. The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business.
Matrix will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts. Matrix stumbles momentarily as he takes a strong leg kick from McClure. McClure shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Matrix defends it nicely. The Matrix is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things. Matrix looks for a takedown but McClure sprawls well. McClure gets tackled into the cage by Matrix. Matrix maintains the clinch. McClure controlling the action here for a moment.

The Matrix has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Lewis McClure. Matrix tries to break the clinch but McClure is controlling the position. McClure breaks from the clinch.
Matrix looks for a takedown but McClure sprawls well. McClure misses with a takedown attempt - Matrix sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses. McClure shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it. McClure is breathing heavily. Matrix shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in McClure's guard. Matrix pushes down on McClure's leg and manages to get into half guard. Matrix is thwarting McClure's attempts to control the position.
That's two minutes gone in the round. McClure is trying to avoid being dragged into an even worse position than he's already in but Matrix is staying active. Matrix is keen to just control but McClure is a slippery customer. Matrix content to control rather than advance. We must be close to a standup if these guys don't pick up the pace. McClure is not content to let Matrix control the position.

We're going to have a standup here because The Matrix wasn't active enough for the referee's liking. Matrix tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but McClure paws at him with a jab and circles away. Matrix dives in and grabs McClure's left leg, looking for a takedown. The Matrix dominated that second round. The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action! This is the final round!

Matrix is trying to pull guard but McClure turns him against the cage and we stay in the clinch. Matrix pushes off and fires off an elbow that misses, before clinching up again, against the cage. McClure blocks a body shot from Matrix. McClure tries to score a body lock takedown but Matrix shows good agility there to stay on his feet.

Matrix breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat. A shot to the liver by McClure. Beautiful body shot. McClure fails miserably with a takedown attempt. Matrix tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion. Matrix shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Matrix has a takedown stuffed. No luck for McClure with that takedown attempt. Matrix shoots in and gets a takedown into McClure's guard. Matrix advances position into side control! Matrix wants to lay and pray for a moment but McClure keeps working. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Matrix tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Matrix has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought!

McClure is working for an escape here. He's hooked one of Matrix's legs and he's managed to sneak out and take Matrix's back!

And that's the end of the fight! The Matrix showed his dominance in that final round. Well I reckon that's a shut out for Matrix, winning every round. Will the judges agree? They are the ones who matter, even if they are often depressingly incompetent. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
