With a record of 13 - 10 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Kurt Jamison!
The judges for this bout are Arvi Lind, Ben Zyskovitsi and Tarja Halkonen.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Jamison swings widly with a right hand
and Karpetti counters with a lovely straight right hand!
Karpetti dodges the punch combination from Jamison.
Left hook, right uppercut from Karpetti.
Jamison slips a straight right by Karpetti.
Kurt Jamison seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Jamison is looking to chop away at Karpetti's legs.
Jamison shoots in for a takedown but Karpetti shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet.
Jamison throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land.
Jamison takes a swing at Karpetti's ribcage but misses.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Jamison looks to land a left hand but Karpetti moved out of range nicely.

Jamison shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Oh and he's advanced to full mount straight away.

Karpetti wants to get back to his feet.
Jamison breaks from Karpetti's wrist control and lands an elbow.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

This has been an exciting period of action!
Jamison pausing momentarily but resumes with a couple of decent strikes that do a bit of damage.
Jamison tucks in and makes sure he doesn't lose the dominant position.
Karpetti on his back here. We all know that wrestlers don't like being on their back so let's see if Karpetti tries to get out of the position.
Jamison's corner are shouting for him to control the position and he seems happy to oblige.
Karpetti knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Jamison on the ground.

Kurt Jamison was full of energy after the big win and talked about how he thinks he can do big things in this sport. The crowd were appreciative of his determination to succeed.
