Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Johnny Chimpo (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Bobby Howard (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). There are an array of beautiful celebrities at ringside tonight! I wonder if any of them paid for their tickets.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
5 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Johnny Chimpo!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Timothy Bukovac, and Jack Bonds.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Chimpo shoots in but Howard avoids the takedown attempt easily.
Chimpo scores a trip takedown into side control. Nice.
A bit of a lull in the action here.

Howard controls the position for a moment.
Howard is looking to regain half guard here but Chimpo keeps moving and retains side control.

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.

Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up.

Chimpo stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Howard swivels though and keeps the full guard.
Howard manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Chimpo manages to get himself to full guard.

Howard is looking to secure an arm. He's managed it! He's pivoting for an armbar - that looks tight! But Chimpo has managed to get out of it and now he's in a dominant position. Nice work from Chimpo!

I would just about give that final round to Bobby Howard.
Well Howard has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
