Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Alex Ramirez (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Drake Vendo (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Ramirez's entrance music is Megadeth-Trust. A fine choice. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 2 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Drake Vendo!
The judges for this bout are Alexandre Firmino, Daniel Cesar and Felipe Paraventi.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Vendo dives in and scores a takedown into Ramirez's guard.

As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Ramirez takes advantage of the dominant position to land a couple of big hammer fists.

Ramirez winds up and cracks Vendo with a swinging punch to the side of the head.

Ramirez has hold of Vendo's left arm, perhaps looking for a submission. The two fighters tussle over control of the isolated limb and Vendo manages to get his arm back to his side and away from danger.

Oh but Ramirez is tightening it up a little... Vendo has to be careful here... He's got his foot tucked under now, this looks tight! Vendo reacted too slowly and this one could be over in a matter of seconds! YES! Vendo taps out! Nice BJJ there by Ramirez!
