Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Brandon Vera (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Alexei Karelin (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Vera comes to the cage accompanied by Bebot. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

The judges for this bout are Yuuki Gou, Yukihiro Shimada and Yasuomi Hirokawa.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Vera is looking to clinch but Karelin is avoiding it.
Vera darts in and lands a nice takedown into half guard.

Vera seems to be working for a kimura but Karelin defends the submission attempt.

That was a close round but I would say that Brandon Vera will probably get the nod.
The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.
Karelin bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control.

Well Karelin has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
