The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Germ walks into a left hand.
It looks like Les Germ has been cut.
Hrolf misses with a kick to the body.
Hrolf throws a nice outside leg kick.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
A head kick misses from Hrolf .
Hrolf looks for a takedown. He's got it. We're now in half guard.
It looks like the ref is thinking about a standup.
Germ wants to control but Hrolf is keeping busy.
Hrolf decides to stand and escape the position.
Germ rushes Hrolf and presses him up against the cage.
Hrolf lands a nice trip takedown into half guard.
Hrolf slips a nice elbow through Germ's hands, connecting with Germ's forehead.
Germ looks gassed!
Hrolf is looking for submissions but instead, Germ has regained full guard.
Hrolf distracts Germ with his right hand and drops a big elbow with his other arm.
That has opened up Les Germ's cut even more.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Hrolf working in close now, lands a nice elbow to the side of Germ's head.
The cut above Les Germ's eye is starting to cause him problems now.
The referee calls the doctor in to look at Les Germ's cut. Oh no, the doctor has called an end to the bout!
