The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Valentine tries to sprawl but Awesome drives through with a takedown into half guard.
Awesome seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Valentine does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up.
Valentine stalks Awesome and leaps in with a furious combination of punches. Uppercuts and crosses smash into Awesome's face. Awesome staggers backwards, shaken.

That was a close second round but I would say that Mister Awesome will probably get the nod.
