Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between CM Brooks (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and DJ Puggles (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Brooks comes to the cage accompanied by Cult of Personality. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
2 - 1 - 0, fighting out of New York, DJ Puggles!
The judges for this bout are Dean Styles, Eddie Farnsworth and Jonathan Paton.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Brooks changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Puggles tries to avoid it but Brooks manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Puggles to the ground. Puggles escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
Brooks clinches up against the cage.
A short uppercut from Puggles.
Brooks has a body lock and is looking for a takedown. Puggles is bouncing around trying to prevent the takedown and somehow he has indeed managed to stay on his feet.
Brooks is trying to force a seperation but Puggles has the dominant position.
Puggles escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Puggles keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for CM Brooks. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Brooks shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Let's see what he's got on the mat.
Puggles wants to sweep but no luck.
Puggles keeping full guard, as Brooks tries to pass.
Brooks trying to control the position from guard on top but Puggles is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
Brooks controlling from the guard. I say controlling but really, he's stalling.

Brooks pushes down on Puggles's leg and manages to get into half guard.
Puggles tries to get to full guard but Brooks has control of the leg.
Brooks is looking to take a break and control but Puggles is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.
Brooks is looking to stall here but Puggles recovers full guard.
Brooks pushes down on Puggles's leg and manages to get into half guard.
Brooks is working for a submission here. He's got hold of the far side arm and he's looking for a kimura. He's cranking on the arm and he's got it! Puggles is tapping out! Ouch, that looked like it hurt!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:56 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Kimura). CM Brooks!
A very excited looking CM Brooks rambled incoherently for about 5 minutes post fight about how awesome he is. It was kinda funny for a while but then everyone got annoyed.
