Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Juan Gonzalez (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Dylan Peterson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). There are an array of beautiful celebrities at ringside tonight! I wonder if any of them paid for their tickets.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Juan Gonzalez! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Dylan Peterson! The judges for this bout are Marco Blurström, Roosa Järviläinen and Ben Zyskovitsi.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Gonzalez tries to clinch but Peterson is having none of it. Gonzalez stuffs the takedown attempt from Peterson. Peterson gets slowly back to his feet. Peterson throws a low kick but Gonzalez avoids it. Peterson fails to land with a series of punches.
Peterson lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Gonzalez circles away quickly and effectively. Gonzalez has Peterson up against the cage in a clinch.
Gonzalez gets underhooks to prevent Peterson's takedown attempt.
Gonzalez escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Gonzalez shoots in for a double leg but Peterson sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy. Peterson tries to close the distance and clinch but Gonzalez swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away. Gonzalez avoids the head kick by Peterson.
Peterson tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in the close the distance. Gonzalez manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat. Peterson connects with a crisp jab. Excellent takedown into side control there by Gonzalez.
That's one minute gone in the round. We may be looking at a referee standup if the pace doesn't pick up soon. Gonzalez throwing strikes but missing, from side control. Peterson is positioning himself to get back to half guard. Gonzalez has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission. Gonzalez tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Gonzalez has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought! Gonzalez is in a dominant position here, looking for a kimura. Peterson looks calm but he's in trouble here. Gonzalez gets his leg over his opponent's head and yanks on the arm. Peterson is tapping like a morse code operator on the titanic! SOS! SOS! Gonzalez lets go of the hold and Peterson can pop his arm back in it's socket.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:47 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Kimura). Juan Gonzalez! Juan Gonzalez very nearly forgot to thank Valhalla 160 amongst all the excitement of his win but just as the interview came to a close, he screamed their name. Hopefully he'll get a few nice freebies in the mail as a thank you.
