Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Cup Tea (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Yang Morks (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Morks has chosen The Champ as his entrance music. Yang Morks will no doubt be trying to keep this one on the feet, where he has a distinct advantage.

7 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Yang Morks! The judges for this bout are Donatello Bradman, Hugh Johnson and John Mangel.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Tea cracks Morks with a right hand to the side of the head. Nice shot by Tea. Morks lands a powerful looking uppercut that connected with his opponent's jaw. Morks throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Tea. Tea blocks a head kick by Morks.
A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Tea. Tea looks to score with a jab to the body but Morks is just out of range. Tea scores with a nice takedown into half guard. Let's see what he's got on the ground. It looks like the ref is thinking about a standup. Morks won't allow Tea to pass to mount. Morks wants to get back to his feet.
Tea is figuring out what he wants to do next. Morks pushes Tea off looking to stand but Tea dives back in and keeps control.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Possibly, maybe, no Tea has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought! Morks bucks up and tries to throw Tea off but instead Tea has got his back! And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Tea lunges in with an uppercut that skims his opponent's chin. Tea misses with a looping left. Tea closes the distance and clinches up with Morks, looking for a takedown. Tea pushes Morks against the cage but Morks circles to the side and manages to break the clinch. Tea throws a right hand that misses
and Morks counters with a three punch combo that has Tea backing up. Tea nods at Morks to acknowledge the strikes. Tea drives through with a takedown into guard. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Morks has butterfly guard. He's looking to stand up here. He pushes Tea off him and springs to his feet nicely. The crowd applauds. Tea fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt. Tea keeping his hands up high there, blocking the jab from Morks. Morks cracks Tea with a good shot that sees him stumbling back into the cage. Cup Tea seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Morks throws a head kick that looked like it stung.
Tea's hands are dropping dangerously low here and Morks connects clean with a right hook that sends him down to one knee! Tea scrambles back to his feet. Morks swings and misses with a hook to the body.
Tea changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Morks tries to avoid it but Tea manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Morks to the ground. Morks escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Cup Tea. That's going to take a lot out of him. Morks avoids a lazy jab quite easily. Tea ducks down and throws a hook to the body.
That's one minute gone in the round. Morks slaps away a takedown attempt from Tea, before circling back to the center of the mat. No luck for Tea with that takedown attempt. Yang Morks is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs. A telegraphed right hand from Tea misses the target. Morks throws an overhand right that lands on Tea's shoulder, as Tea tries to avoid the shot. Morks ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Tea moves away. Morks lands an overhand right. Morks pushing out the jab but it's not landing. Morks just misses with a punch to the body.
A big right from Morks misses. Morks checks a leg kick. Tea dives in and grabs Morks's left leg, looking for a takedown. Morks pushes down on Tea's head and hops out. Morks swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
Tea uses good footwork to get in and out and land a nice right hand before Morks has time to react. Tea throws out a powerful jab.

Tea gets a double leg takedown into Morks's guard. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. The fighters roll with the hold and Morks manages to kick Tea off! Tea jumps back into Morks's guard. Morks keeping full guard, as Tea tries to pass. Morks being controlled here, momentarily. Tea wants to control from the top but Morks keeps moving. Morks wants to stand and escape but Tea is having none of it. Tea trying to control but Morks is working from the bottom.

The ref stands the fighters back up because Cup Tea just wasn't active enough. Tea lands a jab followed by a nice looking cross.
Tea works over Morks's head and body with a nice combination. Tea connects with a body shot that sends Morks's belly button to the back. Morks throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land. Tea shoots in for a double leg but Morks sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy. Tea gets a takedown into half guard. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Tea is looking for a kimura but Morks is holding onto that half guard position, so it's hard for Tea to get the leverage. Morks is looking to escape. The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action! Tea works his foot free and advances to mount. Tea is going oldschool here, as he tries to force Morks to tap using a forearm choke. This isn't 1993 though, so Morks shrugs it off. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
That was a close second round but I would say that Cup Tea will probably get the nod. That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action. This is the final round!

Tea lands with a right hand. Morks goes to the watering hole and comes back with a big thumbs up from the judges as he scores a three punch combo. Both fighters are breathing heavily.
That's one minute gone in the round. Tea wings a very wild body shot but it does the job and lands to the midsection. Tea lands with a right hand. Morks lands a straight punch to the body, keeping Tea at a distance.

and Morks counters with a left and a right that stings Tea. Morks misses with a series of wild punches.
Tea misses the shot to the body. Tea ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face. Morks pushes forward with a 1-2 combination that forces Tea back to the cage. Morks follows up with a solid lead hook to the liver. Tea throws a right and a left that both miss. Morks on the wrong end of an overhand right that came out of nowhere. Tea shoots for a takedown but Morks saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily. Tea jabbing away but nothing is landing. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Tea takes a really solid shot there but just smiles back and shrugs his shoulders.

Morks throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle. Tea looks to throw the jab but Morks is out of range. Cup Tea is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things. Morks lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Tea circles away quickly and effectively. Morks moves away from the strike by Tea. Morks rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Tea moves out of range and avoids them all easily. Some wild striking there from Morks.
Morks misses with a low kick. Morks throws a big shot that misses. Tea shoots in looking for a single leg takedown. Morks is trying to defend but Tea finishes it well and ends up in half guard. Let's see if he can advance position further. Tea is working for a kimura but Morks is defending it quite comfortably.

The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action! Tea can't quite control the action as he would like just now, as Morks is looking to escape.
And that's the end of the fight! That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to Cup Tea. Well I reckon that's a shut out for Tea, winning every round. Will the judges agree? They are the ones who matter, even if they are often depressingly incompetent. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
