Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Schnee Wittchen (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Bruce Babcock (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Wittchen comes into the arena with Can't be touched blaring out of the sound system. Bruce Babcock told me before the fight that he's been watching a lot of DVDs so let's see if that helps him in this one! I can't wait to find out!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
9 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Schnee Wittchen! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
15 - 10 - 1, fighting out of Sydney, Bruce Babcock! The judges for this bout are Eliza Hachem, Damien Edna and Skip Squint.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Babcock throws a hook but Wittchen avoids it easily. Babcock misses with a looping left. Wittchen lands with a thumping leg kick.
Wittchen connects with a slap. Keep your fist closed son. Babcock swings and misses with a hook to the body.
Wittchen throws a looping overhand right but Babcock ducks down to avoid it. Wittchen takes a hook to the side of the head. I wonder if that's got his ears ringing.
Wittchen pushing out the jab but it's not landing. Wittchen misses with a looping left. Babcock looks to land a right hand but Wittchen moved out of range. Wittchen scores with a shot to the body.
Babcock throws a hook but Wittchen avoids it easily. Babcock throws an ugly left hook that misses
and Wittchen counters with a flying knee. Nice. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! A looping hook to the body misses from Babcock. Wittchen does a little dance to reset his feet. Wittchen tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
That's one minute gone in the round. Babcock misses with an uppercut. Wittchen saw that one coming. Babcock waving his hands out in front of him, looking to distract Wittchen. Babcock tests Wittchen's chin there with a solid looking shot. Wittchen walks into a straight right hand from Babcock. Babcock avoids the head kick by Wittchen.
A punch combination from Babcock misses. Babcock connects with a right hand. Wittchen shakes it off. Wittchen misses with a body shot.
Wittchen throws a right and a left that Babcock avoids nicely. Babcock on the receiving end of a decent leg kick there by Wittchen. Wittchen obviously looking to wear him down.
Wittchen uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Babcock.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Wittchen lands with a thumping leg kick.

Wittchen tries a switch kick but it misses it's target. Wittchen uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Babcock.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Babcock checks a leg kick nicely. Wittchen misses with a low kick.
Wittchen bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes. Babcock shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Wittchen sprawls well. Wittchen wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Babcock gets slowly back to his feet. Wittchen moves out of range of the strikes.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Babcock connects with a slap. Keep your fist closed son. Babcock misses with an uppercut. Wittchen saw that one coming. Wittchen gets taken down but at least he's managed to land in guard. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. The referee wants the fighters to be more active or he's going to reset them on the feet. Wittchen is adopting a defensive guard. Wittchen looking to hit a scissor sweep but Babcock is one step ahead there. Hammerfist, elbow! yells Babcock's corner. There ya go! There ya go!
That's four minutes gone in the round. Babcock lands a nice shot whilst sitting in his opponent's guard. Babcock trying to pass the guard. He's being very persistent here but Wittchen manages to land a sweep and now he's on top! Babcock has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan. Wittchen is frustrating his opponent with some stalling tactics from top position. Babcock looking for submissions from the bottom but instead Wittchen passes into side control.
This has been an exciting period of action! As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Wittchen trying to control the position but Babcock is working away. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
That was a close round but I would say that Schnee Wittchen will probably get the nod. The minute break is over - no more time for sponges and pep talks - back to the action!
Nice uppercut lands for Wittchen. That snapped Babcock's head back.
Wittchen throws a leg kick which misses Babcock's front leg but catches the back leg as Babcock tries to avoid it. Wittchen with poor footwork there. He got himself in a bit of a tangle, enabling Babcock to score with a decent uppercut. Wittchen avoids a lazy jab quite easily. Babcock keeps the fight on the outside. Wittchen looks to throw the jab but Babcock is out of range. Babcock smiles there as he lands a nice right hand right on the button. Wittchen throws a wild combination but nothing lands. Wittchen misses with a straight right. Schnee Wittchen is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things. Babcock tries to land a leg kick but Wittchen saw it coming and moves away.
Wittchen connects with a leg kick. He turned his hip over nicely there. Wittchen pushes Babcock away with a front kick.
That's one minute gone in the round. Babcock lands a lovely overhand right. Wittchen fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Babcock, pushing him back against the cage. Wittchen blocks a body shot from Babcock. Babcock misses with some punches.
Wittchen tries a knee to the head but he's missed.
Wittchen misses with a knee to the head. Babcock tries a body shot but Wittchen blocks it.
Both guys are working to get underhooks. Babcock pushes Wittchen back against the cage and unloads with a body punch. Still in the clinch, Babcock scores with a nice short uppercut. Wittchen looking to slow down the pace here. Wittchen prevents a body shot from Babcock. Babcock stalling in the clinch but Wittchen improves position.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Wittchen missing with knees to the body.

The pace really dropping off here, momentarily. Wittchen avoiding damage.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Babcock wants to take the fight to the mat but Wittchen manages to get underhooks and keep the fight in the clinch. Wittchen has Babcock pushed against the cage. Wittchen misses the knee to the body. Nice hip positioning from Babcock.

That's three minutes gone in the round. Wittchen blocks a couple of punches on the inside.
Wittchen is trying to maintain a safe position but Babcock gets an underhook and turns Wittchen into the cage. Wittchen with a knee to the head.
Babcock tries to land a shot to the body but it's blocked. Wittchen landing knees to the body. They look like they could hurt.
Wittchen with the Thai clinch, lands a knee to the head. Babcock misses with a body punch.

Babcock lands a right hand that snaps the head of Wittchen backwards. Babcock can't find room to land a body shot as Wittchen controls the action.

Good anti-grappling being displayed by Babcock as Wittchen tries to tie him up. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Wittchen tries to land a knee to the head but Babcock blocks with his arms.
A real battle for position is taking place between these two warriors. Babcock is trying to break the clinch but Wittchen is controlling him. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Schnee Wittchen dominated that second round. The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action. This is the final round!
Babcock digs a good body shot into Wittchen's ribs. Wittchen fails to land with a series of punches.
Bruce Babcock seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Wittchen misses with a looping left. Babcock swings and misses with a hook to the body.
Babcock loads up on a big right hand but Wittchen slips the punch. Wittchen chopped to the floor by a nice leg kick but he springs right back up before Babcock can pounce on him.
Wittchen swings wildly with a hook that is half blocked by Babcock. Wittchen lunges in with an uppercut that skims his opponent's chin. Babcock looks to score with a combo but nothing lands. A left and a right from Babcock both land. Nice combination. Wittchen throws a right hand that Babcock ducks under and follows up with a left that Babcock also avoids with ease. Wittchen ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face.
That's one minute gone in the round. Babcock throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Babcock misses with a right hand and he gets countered with a snapping leg kick. Babcock misses with a body shot.
Wittchen scores with a three punch combo!
Wittchen throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
Babcock takes a big uppercut there. He seems a bit wobbly but no, he's OK.
Babcock is rocked! Babcock wants to stay close but Wittchen steps back to make room for something. Babcock seems frozen to the spot and bam! huge swing of the leg from Wittchen and Babcock drops like he has been shot! A huge head kick and it's all over!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:39 of round 3, we have a winner by way of KO (Head Kick). Schnee Wittchen! A very excited looking Schnee Wittchen made sure he remembered to thank all the fans both in the arena and on the internet. He said all the coolest people spend all day on MMA websites, which got a big reaction.
