Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Whos Guy (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Sam Dighton (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Well, the cameraman is lingering on a pretty young lady for a bit too long there. Keep your eyes on the fighters buddy or you'll miss the fighter intros!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Daniel Bishop, Steven Brown and Richard Clark.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Guy shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it.
Guy tries to score a power double leg takedown but Dighton sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Guy somewhat.
Dighton drives through with a really nice takedown into side control.
Dighton happy to just control the position for now.
Dighton tries to cartwheel into mount but he doesn't manage it.

Dighton throwing punches and elbows but they're not doing any damage.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Dighton really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Guy. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

Dighton is maintaining the dominant position - no doubt Guy will start to get frustrated soon if he's not already.
Dighton should think about turning a few of those tyres round his middle into muscle if he wants people to take him seriously as an athlete.

Dighton leaves Guy with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt.
Guy is breathing heavily.
Dighton closes the distance and pushes Guy back into the cage.
Dighton gets control of Guy's arms and successfully pulls guard. Dighton will no doubt be looking for submissions off his back.
Guy has gone for a leg lock! Dighton slips out almost immediately though and dives into Guy's guard.

Dighton must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu.

That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business.
Dighton shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Guy's guard.
Guy working away from the bottom but not quite defensive enough there because Dighton has passed into half guard!

Dighton escapes and gets back to his feet.
Dighton clinches up with Guy and pushes him back against the cage.
Dighton ties up his opponent against the cage and manages to drag the fight down to the ground. Dighton no doubt will be looking to work submissions from his guard.
Dighton is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.
Guy is trying to work a guillotine from the top, or something like that? Don't know how he thinks he's going to get a finish from there.
Guy drops back looking for a leg! Dighton is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Dighton manages to kick Guy off! Guy jumps back into Dighton's guard.

Guy drops back, looking for a kneebar! Dighton looks panicked! The fighters roll across the mat, one looking to finish, one looking to escape. Dighton looks to have wriggled free... Yes, he's got his leg free and he's dived into side control! Good work there from Dighton!
