Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Scott William (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jamie Appleby (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Scott William! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Jamie Appleby! The judges for this bout are James Glass, William Gold and Sam Margolis.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Appleby closes the distance and looks for a trip takedown... aaaand he's got it - Appleby lands in his opponent's guard. William is looking for a guillotine. You can't force these things though and Appleby defends well. Appleby is taking a break and basically stalling. The referee will not allow him to do that for long. William utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. William working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Appleby doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Appleby manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem. Appleby slips nicely into half guard. William is looking to sinch up a guillotine here but Appleby pulls his head out easily. William looking to work for a kimura from the bottom. This has been an exciting period of action! William actively working from the bottom here.

Appleby is keen to just control but William is a slippery customer. William actively working from the bottom here. Appleby is trying a forearm choke… I don't think that's going to do much at this level of the game.

Applebyis looking to pass into half guard but William pushes him away with his feet and jumps on top - now William is in guard. William wants to pass the guard but Appleby is keeping the position. Appleby is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move.
That's three minutes gone in the round. William is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. William is trying to control but can't.
Appleby thows a huge punch but William dodges it nicely.
William is trying to maintain the position but Appleby is very close to passing his half guard. Appleby is trying to control. William wants to improve his position but can't escape this time. William avoiding damage under a succession of punches from Appleby. William regains full guard. Nicely done. William is looking for a guillotine. You can't force these things though and Appleby defends well. Appleby got a little sloppy there for a moment and William has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Appleby has managed to get both his arms back between William's legs - danger averted.
That's four minutes gone in the round. William has a closed guard, preventing Appleby from standing up. William can't do much from the bottom at the moment, as Appleby controls the pace. William pushes a forearm under Appleby's chin to create some space. He's escaped his hips and pivoted quickly for an armbar! Can he extend the arm? Yes, Appleby is tapping out! Damn, that was fast!
