Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Pumola Chang (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Al Kaeda (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Pumola Chang could well score a knockout today. He has the power to get to Al Kaeda's chin.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 5 - 2 - 0, fighting out of New York, Pumola Chang!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 10 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Al Kaeda!
The judges for this bout are Steve Smith, Robert Douchet and Elvis Blanc.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A head kick misses from Kaeda.

A momentary lapse in concentration from Kaeda enables Chang to shoot in and score with a neat double leg. Kaeda manages to secure a closed guard as the fighters hit the mat.

That was a close round but I would say that Pumola Chang will probably get the nod.

Chang throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Kaeda stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly.

Kaeda has his head snapped back a nice jab. A little nod from Kaeda there as he acknowledges the shot.
Chang avoids a low kick by using good footwork.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Chang dips down and scores with a jab to the body.
Chang misses with an uppercut. Kaeda saw that one coming.

Chang closes the distance and gets a trip takedown into side control. Kaeda quickly recovers to half guard.

Chang has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Chang seems content to control from guard here. He's going to have to remain active though if he doesn't want to get stood back up.

That's time! Chang's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight. So, we enter the final round. Let's see if either fighter can bring us a finish, or whether we're going to the judges scorecards.

Chang cracks Kaeda with a big elbow. Oh, he's hurt! Chang immediately mounts and start dropping bombs! Kaeda is done! The referee jumps in and saves him from any more punishment - a quick and decisive finish by Chang!
