Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Eddy Jones (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Brock Larson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Eddy Jones is staring across the cage at his opponent, tweaking his nipples... Tweaking his own nipples that is.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Eddy Jones!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Brock Larson!
The judges for this bout are Tiny Johnson, Chris Downing and Daniel Franklin.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Larson tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Jones paws at him with a jab and circles away.
Jones fails with a takedown attempt.

and Larson counters with a nice single leg takedown and he's in Jones's guard now.
Larson is pushing down on Jones's leg trying to pass to half guard. Jones is fighting to maintain full guard but Larson has managed to sneak the leg through.

Larson stands up from half guard... He's had enough of that ground malarky for the time being.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Jones tries a head kick but it misses.

Larson scores with a nice takedown into half guard. Let's see what he's got on the ground.
Jones wants to control but Larson is keeping busy and won't allow it.
Larson stalling.
Jones flails away from the bottom but he's not doing any damage.

Jones tries to get to full guard but Larson has control of the leg.
The referee walks around the fighters to get a better view of the action. Larson lands a nice short elbow.

Larson has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan.

Larson thows a huge punch but Jones dodges it nicely.
Jones on his back here. We all know that wrestlers don't like being on their back so let's see if Jones tries to get out of the position.

The referee claps his hands together and tells the fighters to work.
Jones is trying to maintain the position but Larson is very close to passing his half guard.

OK we're going to have a standup here. Brock Larson hasn't been effective enough on the ground and the referee wants a restart.
Larson tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Jones paws at him with a jab and circles away.
Jones pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Jones tries to grapple but his opponent circles

and Larson counters with a nice double leg into half guard.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Larson keeping composed on the top, looking to control the action.

Larson is nestled in close to Jones, controlling him well. He's worked in a nice elbow to the side of the head as well, for good measure.
Jones knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Larson on the ground.
The referee calls for the fighters to work.
Larson is working hard to pass the guard. He's done it - he's now in full mount! Trouble for Jones!
BOOM! Larson connects with a massive shot to the dome!
Larson lands a couple of nice shots there from mount.

Larson is thinking about an arm triangle here, looking to tighten it up before moving to side control. Jones can see it coming though and defends well with a couple of strikes to the head and some good arm positioning.
Larson controlling the pace for now.
Jones is breathing heavily.

This has been an exciting period of action!
Larson breaks from Jones's wrist control and lands an elbow.
Larson postures up and cracks his opponent a couple of times before moving back into close ground control. Jones looks a forlorn figure.

Jones defends a decent attempt at a guillotine from Larson.
Jones tries to hold on but Larson postures up.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Brock Larson dominated that round.
The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.


Jones throws a one two combo.
Larson tries a head kick but it misses.
Jones wants to clinch up but Larson keeps it at a distance.
Jones fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Larson avoids it really well and circles away.

Larson changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Jones looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better.
Jones looks to move to half guard but instead Larson has passed into mount! Damn!

Larson looking to control but Jones is working nicely, looking to advance position himself.

Larson wants to finish this one by submission but Jones is holding onto his waist, trying to prevent any attacks from Larson.

Jones takes a big shot to the head but keeps on trying to improve his position.

Larson is going oldschool here, as he tries to force Jones to tap using a forearm choke. This isn't 1993 though, so Jones shrugs it off.
Jones is looking to get back to his feet - it's going to be hard from this position.

Jones is in a bad position, trying to hold on for dear life but he is really struggling to maintain any sort of control.
Jones is going to have to think about doing something other than just controlling because Larson is managing to avoid having the position dictated to him.

Larson looking to break Jones's wrist control so he can sink in the choke. Jones remaining controlled and patient though - he really has to keep calm otherwise Larson will wrap this one up with the rear naked choke!
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

Jones is displaying good submission defense - not really looking in danger of submitting to the rear naked choke at the moment. That could change in an instant of course if Larson gets his way!
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Jones wants to control his opponent's hands but Larson gets his hands free.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Brock Larson showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.
The minute break is over - no more time for sponges and pep talks - back to the action! The crowd applaud as we get ready to start the final round!

It looks like Brock Larson has been cut.
Larson throws a punch but it's blocked by Jones.
Jones goes for a takedown in the clinch but Larson prevents it.
Larson is trying to pull guard but Jones has him pressed against the cage.
Jones tries to pull guard but Larson won't allow it.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Eddy Jones. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Jones keeps the fight in the clinch, despite Larson's efforts to push away.
Larson tries to break free but Jones pushes him back against the cage.
Larson has dropped down and is looking to force the takedown but it's defended by Jones after a bit of a struggle.
Larson drops down looking for an ankle pick but Jones pulls his leg out and moves away.

Jones is looking to clinch.
Larson shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Jones as he avoids it easily.

Larson controls Jones momentarily but Jones frees himself.

Larson has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Jones can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!

Larson is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle.

Larson is trying to control the position but Jones postures up.
Jones has to be careful here, sitting in the guard of a superior BJJ player.

Larson looking for submissions from the bottom here. Moving his hips around, possibly looking for an armbar.
Larson is controlling Jones's posture.

That's four minutes gone in the round.
Jones looking to sit in guard and control but Larson gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top.

Larson gets to his feet. Jones looking to butt scoot but the ref puts an end to that. On your feet son!
Larson shoots for a double leg takedown but Jones sprawls well. He's pushed Larson's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.
Nice sprawl there from Jones as Larson shoots in.
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.

Jones shoots in for a takedown from distance. He catches Larson napping and manages to drive through into side control!
Jones wants to stand but Larson has his arm trapped.

And that's the end of the fight!
I would just about give that final round to Brock Larson.
I've got Larson winning every round here. Surely the decision will go his way and he'll pick up a well deserved decision victory. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
