Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
11 - 2 - 0, fighting out of London, Tukka Hirvonen!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
20 - 7 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Ali Bang!
The judges for this bout are Vladimir Khabensky, Illya Tyunina and Aleksei Zolotukhin.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Bang throws a front kick aimed at Hirvonen's knee but Hirvonen avoids it well.
Hirvonen lands a jab to Bang's midsection.
Bang shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Hirvonen sprawls well. Hirvonen wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Bang gets slowly back to his feet.
Tukka Hirvonen seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Bang fails with a takedown attempt.
Hirvonen looks to score with a jab to the body but Bang is just out of range.
Bang avoids the body shot from Hirvonen.
Hirvonen misses with a body shot.
Bang tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Hirvonen was well out of range. Poor timing from Bang.
Bang rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Hirvonen moves out of range and avoids them all easily.
Bang tries to clinch but Hirvonen moves away
letting Hirvonen counter with a right hand.
Tukka Hirvonen is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Hirvonen lands a nice hook to Bang's body. Bang takes it in his stride and looks to land his own strikes.
Hirvonen misses with a looping right.
Hirvonen slips a jab and a cross from Bang.
A left lands for Hirvonen.
Hirvonen dips down and scores with a jab to the body.
Hirvonen keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.
Bang takes the fight into the clinch.
Bang's head jolts backwards as he takes an uppercut right on the button!
Hirvonen pushes Bang back against the cage and unloads with a body punch.
Bang is looking for a takedown up against the cage. Hirvonen gets underhooks though and prevents the takedown attempt.
Tukka Hirvonen has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Ali Bang.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Bang drops down for a takedown but doesn't get it.
Bang is looking to take this one to the mat.
Bang looks gassed!
Bang prevents a body shot from Hirvonen.

Bang lands with a right to the head.
Hirvonen blocks a knee to the body. He'll have a nicely bruised forearm in the morning.
Hirvonen lands on the inside with an uppercut.
Hirvonen tries to throw a body punch but Bang avoids it by throwing Hirvonen back against the cage.
Hirvonen has Bang pressed against the cage, preventing Bang from circling away and getting back to striking at range.
Hirvonen lands punches inside but they're not really causing much damage.
Hirvonen lands a right hand that snaps the head of Bang backwards.
Bang looks like he'd prefer to be striking at range right now.
Bang wants to get back to striking at distance but Hirvonen won't allow it.
Bang escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Bang tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion.
Hirvonen comes forward and lands a shot to the body, then darts back out of range.
Hirvonen misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
Hirvonen dips down and scores with a jab to the body.
Hirvonen is looking to wear down Bang with body shots, infact he's throwing more body shots than head shots at the moment.
Bang takes an uppercut right on the button but keeps his composure.
Bang goes to the watering hole and comes back with a big thumbs up from the judges as he scores a three punch combo.
That's three minutes gone in the round.
Bang throws a body punch but Hirvonen moves out of range.
Bang closes the distance and clinches up with Hirvonen, looking for a takedown. Bang pushes Hirvonen against the cage but Hirvonen circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.
Hirvonen moves out of range of the strikes.
Hirvonen with a body punch. A glancing blow.
Hirvonen's corner calls for a 1-2. Hirvonen obliges with the 1 part as he scores the single shot and moves back out of range.
Bang throws a head kick but Hirvonen moves out of range.
Bang looks for a takedown but Hirvonen sprawls well.
Hirvonen misses with a double jab.
Hirvonen lands a beauty of a right hand that gets the crowd cheering.
Bang misses with a right hand
enabling Hirvonen to counter with a crisp jab.
Bang misses with a combination
and Hirvonen counters with a left and a right... And another left! Bang is down! He's done! The ref dives in to save him and that's the end of the fight!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:59 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Tukka Hirvonen!
Tukka Hirvonen decided to thank the fans in attendance for making a great atmosphere. It seemed to go down pretty well.
